This is actually an interest and brave concept for DBZ games to take. By far, Imperfect cell was the most terrifying of the villains in my opinion, so seeing a game where it's mostly humans and possibly 1 or more androids, against freaking Cell, is just crazy, cause I dont think Goku or any other Z fighters are gonna be saving the day here, just ordinary humans, and maybe a robot or two.

Now this is a very unique game format that I didn't expect to be part of the franchise. I always imagined Imperfect Cell as a real slasher villain and I looks like this game will paint him in that picture. Gonna play this regardless, but bonus points if Launch and Farmer with a Shotgun are somehow playable.

Hopefully it's a different map along with each villain, but if broly was a dope boss that would be a huge selling point for the game. Atleast for me who likes playing as broly, but i probably wouldn't get this game unless it was inexpensive or i had a group of friends to consistently play with.(which i don't)

Fun concepts other than the usual fighting and open worlds DBZ is known for. Love the art style in this little animation. Even the characters when the running from cells blast lol

That opening cinematic for the first minute of this trailer looked outstanding! I honestly would not mind if we got a DB movie with those visuals.

I would pay so much money for a good horror/thriller survival movie with imperfect cell, maybe in found footage style would be so damn cool and spooky. I think it's too easy to get caught up in all the buff screamy strong guys and lasers in DBZ, but if you stop to really think about it, a scenario where you need to survive Cell as a regular human is horrifying and has such potential.

I.. kinda like it. I don't know if I will play it, but goddamn this is a new take on an existing franchise, and I'm all for that. A Dead by Daylight like PvP Survival game in the DBZ universe sounds really fun. It would be dope if they would announce more villains/killers like Majin Vegeta, Boo, Frieza or Demon King Piccolo. I'm all for creativity.

Tbh, I was kinda unsure at first about breakers, but it's a nice change of pace, a good cut back to the "reality" of Dragon Ball Z, and how screwed most Earthlings are. We've had tons of fighting games, yeah, and seen everything all our favorite fighting faces did. But when's the last time we really saw any of these guys from a normal human perspective in a game? Anyway, yeah, I support them trying to branch out, and make a new experience. Sure, it's not a continuation of a series we like, like Xenoverse or Budokai Tenkaichi, but at least people will be able to look at these villains with the fear they deserve

When seen from the perspective of a non Z fighter Imperfect Cell can be a frightening enemy. He really did have the makings of something from a horror film. Quite a lot of Cell's victims would feel exactly the way you would when playing Alien: Isolation... Imagine just running and hearing his foosteps and wondering where he is.

I really enjoy this game harking back to the post-apocalyptic themes of some Dragon Ball arcs. Kinda reminds me of the History of Trunks and Goku Black storylines.

this is amazing, and I bet Buu is also an evolving enemy to face. Maybe also Frieza. But regardless I love them taking a gamble on a non-fighting game with DB for once.

@Empyrean Void No, because the game is built around it being 7 Vs 1. The enemy has to be EITHER Black OR Zamasu, not both (unless it's Fused Zamasu). Otherwise it's 6v2 and that's not what the game is blatantly advertising.

@MaestroClumsyLoser why not? Not many people knows how dragon ball begun, all they know is the story for DBZ and DBS It’d be an original game with an original storyline and would play completely different than all the other dragon ball games So why don’t you think it wouldn’t sell well?

@@matzeatz But for real, if this is Dead By Daylight by DB, and there are villains besides Cell on the hunt (Which I’m expecting), Launch should be in the game _as one of the Killers,_ as revenge for being left to rot in obscurity.

This will be really cool if it turns out well. If they make a sequel to this, I would love if it’s a survival against Frieza from the perspective of a namekian. That would be fun and scary too.

This is different, not sure how to feel about it but happy their trying new stuff with the franchise

i’m not first the damn cgi movie NOW THIS

At first I was just bewildered and baffled at the idea. But I have to admit that Cell launching energy attacks at a city of regular humans, just because they annoy him, is pretty hilarious. But I guess those humans must be extraordinary because Cell just ascended to his Perfect form pretty quickly after absorbing them. Also, Farmer with Shotgun and Launch need to be in this game. I'm not even going to play this game, but I would like to see them in it.

That's one unique concept of a Dragon ball game !!

I see a lot of original Dragon Ball in this and it makes me so happy

Beginning of the trailer was so good. They could really make a serious and frightening DBZ horror game. If they wanted to.

I'm actually really excited for this. I love the idea of taking a more horror focus of the Dragon Ball series especially with how screwed the average person is living in a world with terrifying supervillains like Cell, Buu, and Frieza.

Facepalm, DB FighterZ had an original story and DB Xenoverse 2 covered all stories from Dragon Ball Super in DLCs. SDBH World Mission also had OG stories, so we didn't have the same story over and over again. DBZ Kakarot is the only game in these last 5 years that covered the same Z story.

At long last, a game from the perspective of regular civilians instead of the Z Warriors. I also like the idea of one survivor being Oolong, who seems to have some abilities of his own. All this game needs is a little bit of optimization and it should do well. At least if Xenoverse 3 doesn't come out of nowhere around this game's release day.

I actually want Puar, can transform as well. I hope they give us General Tao with his pillar flying to escape Cell. He’s a DB character facing a major threat, I see no reason for not being included. Also his transportation was added as a mechanic in Kakarot.

Glad they kept the spongebob noise for cell's footsteps

Still waiting on a OPEN BETA release, and possible release date...Been over 6 months now.

This has to be one of the more creative uses of the Dragon Ball IP in a while now

I literally don't even know what to think about this game but at least Oolong is finally getting some spotlight. I've been wanting him to get an LR in Dokkan for ages...
