Showing off some combos, specials, supers, ultimates & more! For this, we see the full animation for Stardust Fall! Which is not something we have seen much in, in other builds and gameplay. Taking into account his Base Form, Super Saiyan form, and Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta 3. A bit of a rant on how we've seen nearly everything regarding these characters. And how I wish that certain things were kept private! With the oversaturation of Gameplay footage(esp from hype characters), it doesn't feel as hype knowing that I already have an idea on what the characters will have. 4. Showing Goku's meteor Smash. Or anotherl ook at it, I guess 5. News on another Playable Demo! Which occurs today at Spocom

Seeing gameplay will never live up to having the game in your hands yourself. This game is going to thrive off of the pure enjoyment of the gameplay alone. Not to mention that there's plenty of content still yet to be shown, we've only seen maybe 20-30 characters out of a 150+ fighter roster- and that's not even mentioning stuff like the story mode, What If scenarios, Custom Battles, character customization, etc. This game is going to be PACKED, even with all we've already seen.

I understand that seeing so much gameplay takes away from the excitement of the game, but it also allows the developers to know what needs to be fixed/tweaked so I don’t mind it

Why not show it this much ? This is literally the 4th installment in the series after more than a decade . Remember we WANTED THIS! If anything, the hype should be at an all time high! Because judging by the surface level stuff we already seen , I’m pretty sure the game is gonna be far more in depth than we actually realize . Especially with DLC on the way as well, man this game really is gonna succeed all expectations

I too, remember when the Rivals Trailer showed off DBZ(End) Base Vegeta, DBZ(End) SSJ Vegeta, all of SSJ2 Vegeta's Attacks, SSJ2 Goku's attacks, SSJ3 Goku's Moves, SSB Goku's moves, and more. Newsflash: DBZ Goku(End) and Vegeta(End) were the least shown.

Tbf game has like 164+ chars/slots so showing like what 30 40 chars/slots ? isn’t a lot and fits for a demo like its less than third of the chars and pretty much every game demo has around the same amount depending on the roster size

For me while they're showing off alot. Personally it doesn't kill off the hype. If anything more people will only be more excited once they finally get their hands in actually playing the game. Keeping things private is fine but showing off cool things like these are fine too, people will love talking about it regardless. Keep the fans fed til the eventual release of the game.

I understand where you're coming from Janemba. I agree and disagree with you at the same time. I think Namco Bandai should as much much or as little as they want to the public. We of course as consumers can make our own decision to either consume all of these gameplay videos and trailer or go dark for the next 3 months. Ultimately it's up to everyone as individuals to make that decision for themselves.

If you think about it, they did right choosing to reveal early DBS Gogeta and Broly. Image if they started from Z all the way up to DBS. What the fans will be saying during the waiting? "Where is Gogeta and Broly that were outside Dbs as a stand alone movie?". And they would complain about not releasing information about them. Instead by revealing early, not only they gave more hope for others movie characters, they basically confirmed that DBS is the main point of the game and they also secure the bag, because you need to preorder to get DBS Gogeta and DBS Broly

Btw DBS Gogeta and DBS Broly, already have been showcased on other games. The movie came 6 years ago. Imagine gatekeeping hype characters that came 6 years ago. This is why they didn't show some DBS Super Hero characters, they came out 2 years ago. You can view dbs Gogeta and Broly showcase as a gift to the fans that waited more than a decade to a sequel. Then you got Goku, and Vegeta with the Shintani style. Showcasing them, it implies that you got Gogeta as a fusion therefore people will scream "show us some fusion gameplay please". Made Granola one shot MUI Goku to make Ultra Ego Vegeta look "strong". Made MUI Goku fight Gas and job. And a bunch of other things. It was a combination of toyo making UI look less impressive as time goes on. The beast gohan stuff was where i drew the line, since leaks made it seem like gohan won. when it was mostly a draw. Modern DBS basically makes Goku+Vegeta job constantly.

I think what bugs me more about them showing off so much is that they keep showing the same characters over and over so we know everything about them, meanwhile other characters we know absolutely nothing about. Like, I honestly don’t care at all about what Goku has, we know what he’ll have, he has the same stuff in every game, he’s Goku. Cell and Buu have like 0 content for them but gogeta has gameplay for every form, just annoying to see the same stuff.

In my opinion even if they show to much i dont watch it Like i watch maybe every 2-3 weeks 2 Videos abt gameplay footage so i dont see to much so i keep my hype to myself

Cool. Now let me do the same. Here's how to make a Video from FennkitFox: -Do Rescores of Old Anime Clips & Old Footage of Dragon Ball Games like Kakarot. While being too lazy to record the footage yourself, and using it from Zanar Aesthetics(DBZ kakarot has been out for more than 3 years). -Be completely unaware of how audio is, and too dumb to realize that the song in the first video is absolutely too loud and doesn't sync well with how the SFX and voices are - Put in custom Music on a clip that already HAS MUSIC IN IT! To be fair I feel that the demo while overused is perfect. Because we can see how these hype characters are used by normal peeps. To be frank, theres a lot they are still hiding from us in terms of characters. We havent seen anything from most characters in trailers aside from the trailers themselves. Does the demo kill the hype for these characters? I dont think so.

Usually what gets hype is when people see things or reveals for the first time. When people have already seen it, it gets less hype because of the amount of oversaturation and spoilers. Which leads to less views for everyone. Characters like Gogeta, DBZ Vegeta and various forms of goku are already hype. Having full gameplay takes away from not only their trailers, but also from everyone when sparking zero comes out. Because Gogeta, Goku , Vegeta showcases on release will get significantly less views since they were already seen 3+ months before release. Gogeta is one of the most hype characters in DBS. You keep him exclusive to a trailer, and have everyone experience him. No one even comes close except for Vegito, UI, or Beast
