As much as it saddens me that the English Dub music isn't remixed or anything by anyone, this was so awesome, and I love that it used the Japanese OST towards the end. This is how you make music and pay respects to its source.

I definitely tried to make use of some of the same instrumentation from English dub music, but elevate it to something new. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I wanted to be as respectful as I could to both the eng and jap ost while making something of my own ☺️

These soundtraks allways keep me motivated when i have to workout, a true moral booster for when you feel down. I allways think of what would Goku do in such situations when i feel down, and that is to stay cheered up and ready to pump those muscles and get motivated!

Bro the way you incorporated the original SS4 theme in the mix of it was so good. I’m so glad that you made this, it’s actually amazing. GT means a lot to me, especially this part of the baby saga. It was my first exposure to Dragon Ball. I genuinely almost shed a tear in the buss as I remembered the episodes with Goku vs Baby. You’re the first person to pick up on that and mention it :) there’s a part in the anime where he’s all serious and pan asks him if he’s still on the good side and he smiles- I wanted to see the playful side of Goku still underneath the hardened exterior of SSJ4 :) but of course, when it’s time to get serious, he’s serious 😉 it’s subtle but thank you for noticing 🙏

Another magnificent piece from you, GLADIUS!! It’s so very atmospheric with the music fading in and out. For me, Goku’s Super Saiyan 4 Theme always felt sort of clunky and choppy. So of course, as per usual, your mastery of the Dragon Ball soundtrack cleaned it up in a way that makes it absolutely phenomenal. And then Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku sneaks itself on in there and the pain and tears of Dragon Ball GT’s ending reared it’s head in the back of my mind and actually caused me to bare tears from just the sheer emotions put into it and the song as a whole. Once again, you have made another masterpiece!!

Yeah- I did feel there was something missing from the music for the SSJ4 transformation (speaking of the eng dub) they might have even reused music from earlier on which didn’t make it feel as special as it could have. But so happy you enjoyed my version man!! 💜

I haven't listened to the SSJ4 theme that the other comments have mentioned, so I'll just say that its inclusion felt seamless, wherever it showed up. I have a guess but I'll check that later. Beautiful work, love the inclusion and layering of the GT OP.

The SSJ4 theme they are referring to is the GT OP I believe; Dan Dan Kokoro, but it plays in a gentler way after the transformation. That said, even though I have a passion for making these and have a deep love for DB, some of the other listeners know way more about DB than me, it’s awesome :) And thank you 🙏

I've always enjoyed the Funimation dub music for Dragon Ball GT, but in the UK we grew up with the Funimation dub with the original Japanese music. The emotions I experienced at 3:00 onwards was insane, listening to that sent me straight back to my childhood. To the very moment at the end of GT, when this theme was playing, and we're saying goodbye to Goku for what we thought at the time would the final time we would see anything from Dragon Ball. Literally brought me to tears!

Goku turning Super Saiyan 4 was the most GOATED moment in GT. Thus, it gave birth to one of the coldest characters ever, Super Saiyan 4 Goku. That will forever be my favorite scene in DBGT. it's already sounds great from the start, I can hear the heroic and intense transformation from it but when the gt theme appears, everything becomes more amazing. it's so beautiful... you don't really have to include it but it's so beautiful, I can cry when I listen to that part. it feels like I saw a hero from the past that finally appears again after a long time to save the day, very hopeful and nostalgic 😢

This is spectacular work. I have been a DB fan since the 90s. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of GT and I don't care for SS4... but this theme is brilliant! Well done, sir! Edit: That guitar slide and drive at 1:08 hits like the Dragon Fist!

3:03 nice touch. Could easily sync up this with the scene when he absorbs the revenge death ball and blasts the hell out of Baby.

Dude i Just had a vision of this song being at the end scene of a DBZ live action movie. In my headcannon the first movie debuts the characters and their histories, along with flashbacks during the epic fight with raditz, finishing off with the training of the humans, piccolo and gohan and Goku running on snake way, while vegeta and nappa destroy Arlia and fly off to finish their journey to earth. The first minute is them discussing how pathetic the planet had become with the explosion happening at 1:00 of the music. Then they hop in their pods. Then it goes back to earth and shows piccolo meditating while thinking about what he just sensed happening , and how Goku needs to finish his training if they are to have a chance. at 1:40 Picollo opens his eyes in a close up and in a sweat with a stern look and then a black screen pops up and the DBZ logo shows at 1:45 and credits appear with a back drop of different art showing the fighter's training. Then maybe a few quick scenes 4-5 seconds of each of the characters and what they are doing as the credits roll... I miss old school dbz

I’m not sure if you saw the original video of me rescoring the SSJ4 scene, but I wanted the intro to represent the Oozaru, the timpani and brass acting like a giant monkey beating it’s chest, until it all goes quiet, then we inside gokus mind as he undergoes the transformation into SSJ4. I’m glad you liked it though! Oh I loved the legacy of Goku games! I’m not sure which track that is I’m gonna have to look it up 👍☺️

I can see where you are going with it and makes sense, yes listening to it again. Appreciate the replies! Oh you will love them. The intro sounds like the funimation second intro; which you have done, but it's slightly different and the ending theme or epilogue is like an amalgamation of the legacy of Goku 2, tracks, sounds and that. It's awesome, you will love it!

@@Shiyoken I remember the opening but just listening to the epilogue now- wow, I don’t think i remember hearing this but I love that it’s this big medley of all the Faulconer themes, what a crazy piece!! You’re were right I love it 😃 I could see myself recreating this one in the future. Thanks for sharing!

Broly theme is on my list :) once I get thru my Z tracks I will start doing more super and therefore Broly 👍

Not even close to the original soundtrack, not saying is bad, just different.... The another version makes you feel so emotional, i just cant hold the tears

It’s my own hypothetical version which was never meant to emulate the original at all, I just wrote whatever the scene made me feel when I watched the English dub from when I was a kid (which had a completely different score again). I only added the Tokunaga’s theme in there at the bridge as a homage to his amazing score👍
