Akira Toriyama is a true legend. I’ve also grown up with Dr. Slump and not only the Dragon Ball franchise, but his character designs for my favorite JRPG games are incredible. Such as: Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, Blue Dragon etc. Toriyama sensei, thank you so much for everything you’ve done for millions of fans around the world. You are such a genius who inspired many manga artists. For my final wish, I wish I could revive you with the Dragon Balls. My condolences from the bottom of my heart to your family and friends. Rest in peace.

Oh they will worship anything Toriyama does and even more now that he has passed. Personally I love GT and always wanted to see Kid Goku go SSJ and SSJ3. I highly doubt this show will be as good as the best parts of GT but it might be okay. I know it will smoke Super.

I get what was trying to happen here, catering to the new young generation like us with the original dragon ball / dragon ball z. As a person that grew up through dragon ball and z, im sad that it has come to this but happy that a new generation will hopefully fall in love with it and continue the dragon ball legacy

I wasn't going to watch this, but I will just to honor Akira Toriyama sensei. RIP, we will all miss you and cherish what you gave us. You made many of our childhoods amazing and continue to inspire new generations. Toriyama never officially revealed it, but Daima must have been inspired by Naho Ohishi's spin off manga called *"Dragon Ball SD"* (SD = strongly deformed = chibi style), which is a comedic remake of the whole Dragon Ball manga in color and ALL characters are shrunken to kids and teenager size.

Don't you dare to criticize Akira Toriyama's last work. Chibi DB that's what my life needed it.🥰 R.I.P. Sensei 🙌❤️
