I've just finished a recent playthrough of the DA trilogy, videos like these are the only things keeping me going at the moment! This was absolutely beautiful, Alistair remains my favourite romance out of all the games!

I wish Bioware could have focused more on the cousland warden´s mourning. First she/he almost lost her/his whole family and in the next moment she/he seems to act like everything´s fine when they come to Ostegar. Neither there are face expressions, no emotional cutscene or caring words from Duncan at least. They could have done more. The whole game lacks in his/her mourning process and that what we got was not enough in my opinion. The love story between Alistair and female cousland warden is so tragic and beautiful. They lost everything, but they have the other one to fight alongside, to live on, to grow, to deal with the pain, to become stronger (hardened Alistair). They deserve a happy end and fucking hell I will give them one, even when Alistair has to sleep with Morrigan. Becoming king and queen, bards will sing about their love and its impact on ferelden. It´s so romantic and like a fairy tail. Bioware, what have you done.

Honestly I think the warden was holding it in possibly didn't want to till found a place to grieve plus it took them up to a week or so to reach ostagar possibly had time to grieve in that time frame or it's became facial expressions take time notice dragon age rarely has expressions same with its expansion dlc

And then there’s me and I willingly choose to romance him as a city elf knowing dang well I’m gonna hurt in the end. In my first play through, he broke up with me cause I left him unhardened and I wanted him to be king. Then, I refused Morrigan cause my character (I say my character but it was mostly my reaction to the break up) wanted to end cause it hurt so bad. I took him with me to the Fort Drakon, and he bamboozled me by stealing the final blow. So now my *original* canon warden is just mourning through awakening and trying to forget the human man who made her learn to love and then they lost everything to his birthright, and even more the blight. I was like 13 playing this and I’ve grown and matured on how I play origins, but holy crap was the angst REAL for me in this romance. If you somehow read all this… thank you❤️

Ok, I have to know. What mod lets me have Alistair kick Rendon Howe off a cliff? Because I need that in my life.

In the first time I played, I didn't had enough Coercion to convince Alistair to do the ritual. I am playing for the second time now, and I've made sure to level up my Coercion to the highest :D

Alistair and my Warden's romance is like, one of the best thing to happen in gaming ever..... So much so I have a hard time getting in to Dragon Age II. Haven't tried Inquisition yet, but the little dialogue with Alistair I have seen makes me hope beyond hopes that there is more in store for Alistair and the warden.

You’ve got to play the other two for the characters alone, Sarcastic Hawke is the best and the whole family dynamic with Hawke 🤯❤️ The Solas romance in Inquisition is beautiful so is Cullen.... But yeah I always go back to Alistair who I make King to my Queen and it’s fun seeing him in later games still gushing about his Warden Queen.

I love how you did your own canon with Alistair's romance

It's called character swapping, where you swap the head morphs around, I think I've explained it in another video comment :)

It ist possible that you two have an Happy End when you harden him, then you can convince King Alistair to continue your relationship. You become his mistress.

so if you go onto Nexus mods there is loads of mods that give you this ending or you can character swap but the characters will still have their original voices!

if you're swapping characters that already exist in game, you don't need any programs - you just rename it to the name of your character. ^^ When replacing Harwen for howe, you find Howe's headmorph , rename it to 'hm_lel000_harwen.mor' and then place it in your override like a mod. ^^

@@dibalivia772 it's been ages since i've done this but I think you have to find marjolaine's body file and open it with pygff (www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/4512?tab=files) and change her gender from two to one and put it back into your override :) the base game file that you have to open is (hf_lel000_marjolaine.mor) i think??

it was their child after they found the cure (considering the wardens quest went well in DAI) ☺ I made him in the toolset, and it was my first attempt, I tried 😅

Liked the scene where Howe died. I hate this character so much!! Hate everything about him,his shitty face,his sneaky actions,his voice,a human wannabe combining snake,crow,hyenna and cockroach! If they remade Dragon Age and give us the option to torture him before killing him,I would gladly do it many times over just for the satisfaction of seeing that pathetic existance slowly fading away..
