I think she gets mad at him at the end of the cutscene though XD She only let's him kiss her on the chick : " you mf after all we've been through, you dare leave me alone to deal with this? ROFL maybe THAT'S why she didn't bother to message him and tell him that people were planning to assassinate her or that there was that creepy brood mother and architect so he could send some before it got so far out of hand. I always thought that was a bit odd. He's only in the Bannorn lol Fereldan isn't THAT big he could have sent SOMEONE to help

You can definitely tell Awakening was written with a lower-tier Warden in mind. I love the Queen Warden ending of Origins but it meshes pretty badly with a lot of things that happen in Awakening. Templar Rylock was probably one of the more frustrating examples. I mean... really, lady? I understand you think the word of the Maker supersedes the crown's decree, but Jesus Christ, learn to pick your battles! You're seriously willing to kill the hero who slew the Archdemon, Commander of the Grey and WIFE to the fucking KING, the *QUEEN OF GODDAMN FERELDEN*, in order to apprehend a criminal who's already been legally pardoned for his crimes? *REALLY*???

LilZombieGurl here, in this scene, she's rather in the position of the commander of the grey wardens than the queen

Anyone else notice that as a female character in all dragon ages you can make a theme by dating or marrying some form of nobility. In Origins you can become queen with Alister. In Dragon age 2 you can get with Sebastian and basically become his princess. I guess in Inquisition you can get with a God so... eh... close enough?

You could be in a romance with a Divine. Not officially marrying but the romance continues and she’s Divine. One of the most powerful people in Thedas.

Fandom Enforcer yep you can also find him voicing a templar at Ostigar and sounding just like Anders (the source of a headcanon I have of how Anders escaped from the circle)

This throws me off so bad. Anders voice actor in awakening is the same as Cullen in DA2 and DAI. I never played awakening but I've played inquisition multiple times so all I hear is a really sassy Cullen. Not the shy commander Cullen who I romanced.

The voice over actor was different in the two games, as was the character. I liked this Anders better: Wise cracking and not too serious. The DA2 Anders was apparently possessed by the spirit Justice. Anders had moments in DA2, but not like this.

CDBookManGaming Kings generally are higher in rank than queens. In Chess, for instance, the queen is the most power piece but loosing the king will cost you the game, and not the queen.

In this case I'm pretty sure it's more of a programming thing. There's only two options where the Warden is of an equal social position to the monarch and so for the rest it fits that they would bow like that and I think that they just programmed the movements that way across the board. I think that a male warden-consort bows to Anora the same way so it's more programming the movements rather than making a statement about the relationship. After all, she called the shots all through the game and he point-blank refused to take flak for that from people because he had no problem deferring to her.

I haven't played Awakening yet, due to time issues, and the fact that I did the Ultimate Sacrifice ending the first time but then (I replayed the game and made sure to bang Morrigan this time).

Benjamin Teng probably an error by the devs. I really disliked Oghren in Awakening,in DA:O he had a reason to be a drunktard,having to deal with all it has happened to him.He was actually funny,good hearted and felt like he was changing for the better. in Awakening,it's just there,bad jokes,no real connection with your warden,no dialogue,nothing,just bad jokes. The only thing that mattered if you brought Oghren to the circle.THat's it i would have liked to see sober Oghren and be friends with him if you and him survived in DA:O. The real reason behind that is that Gaider wrote Oghren in Awakening while Jay Turner wrote Oghren in Origins After that epic line at the gates "Let the stone turn red from the blood of the heroes.Today i will be the warrior you taught me to be" Awakening was a dissapointment.

Ahh Knight Templar Sir Rylock. I love how she gave me the first major reason why I should never support or trust the Templars after Origins. Greagoir, Bryant, Emeric, Thrask for the most part and eventually Cullen were good men. And that’s honestly the best I can say about the Templar Order.

In every one of my DAO games I have Alistair to marry Anora so,awakening can make sense. Beside I don't think a female Dalish elf would be accepted as queen since there is bad blood between the Dalish and Shems. There is hints that they are not married..One blaring example why would a husband give his wife a peck on the cheek when she's heading into a fight or why would a king send his queen into battle??

I usually have Alistair marry Anora too. Then she'll appear at the beginning of this DLC. The best is, if you marry Anora, she still acts like she married Alistair in this portion of the DLC on the XBox 360 only. Yeah, I reply quick.

This is super old but if you have the all can marry Alistair mod and romance/marry him as a Dalish elf then he grants Dalish a plot of land, so long as you request it! And then your guardian gets emotional at the end and it's Super Good Stuff
