It’s great seeing 1/4 mile Drag Racing. Screw 1/8 mile racing.
Who are the 62 people that gave this video a thumbs down. Great video. Super Stock is the best. Mopars ruled the track today . 💪🏻💪🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸

NOW THAT'S HOW DRAG RACING SHOULD BE FILMED....PERFECT ANGLE We see the cars up close, the race start to finish and the win light Nostalgia Super Stock is the Best Drag Racing today
I had a '63 dual quad 409, and my brother had a '62 4 barrell 409 ss's, our retirement would have been a little easier if we kept the and a dozen more rare cars we had. Oh well so much for 20/20 hindsight. But you know we had a hell of a time! Better to have loved muscle cars and sold them than never had owned them at all!

Jon Tisdall Hello from NiagaraFalls New York USA back in the Day I would walk 7 miles from my house to Niagara Dragstrip it ran from 1962-1974 and I walked every time there and back home again from 1968-1973. Miss that track. But I do have my 8mm film footage on KZread
Come on car guys 100 plus views and only 4 thumbs up. If you want the sport the car scene to survive got to support it.. Awesome video no school like old school.

@Backyard-Built-Trucks, I couldn't agree more, I've often thought that the disparity between the number of views and the number of 'likes' or even 'dislikes' is a bit odd. When you consider the quality of the video, both content and presentation, I'm at a loss to understand it.

🤔 Hmm..... This is unusual. Let me see if I can interpret your post.... 😕 You said your first car was a Mopar, and that particular model was your favorite. 👉Interpretation: You lived in a region where there just werent any Fords or Mercurys, so you didn't know anything about them yet. But you moved later on, discovered Ford cars, sold the Mopar, and you've been driving cars and trucks with the blue oval badge ever since, and you've never been happier(or faster)!😉👍

👉 What happened to the "world's lowest 65 Comet" @ 4:31? He had an INCREDIBLE start, absolutely blowing the doors off the Mopar at the line. He got loose shortly afterwards, with a little fish tailing, but only for a second. He quickly got it back under control, but then he coasted the rest of the way, with his competitor blowing by him at 2/3 track. I didn't hear or see any obvious signs of catastrophic engine failure. Hmm....??? 🤔
Blew the hood off the Ford at 5:54.

Wouldn't it be great if someone came up with a shitload of money and organized a group of races who ran on say 60's or 70's rules. Include everything from T/F to Stockers. SEGA is pretty good but they run a limited number of classes and only race on 1/8 mile tracks.
