Absolutely, even with favouritism she did terribly. They criticize Canary queens for their boots while saying nothing about Kelly's roller skates. Kelly should've never even been brought back because Clover did the best by far in the comedy challenge (and probably would've brought back Visa regardless of what she says now).

Angeria lost steam at the end of the season unfortunately, and clearly lost the last lip sync with Willow Pill for the finale. It’s sad because she started out so strong, but her making the finale was questionable to me.

Have you ever thought why AS3 had that final jury vote to the finale? Maybe Ru wanted to save face for Bebe and so rather than Ru, herself, telling her that 'its not her time', as she was their very first winner. By creating a 'jury', production can then manipulate the final so that Bebe doesn't have the chance to win again. (As the girls would think its unfair for an already winner to come back and win again, Bebe had no chance with the 'jury'). Bebe, thus 'saves face', Ru doesn't have to tell her directly, as production never actually wanted Bebe to win in the first place. Shangela just happened to be the bi-product of their decision.

Vivaldi was caught cheating on the top 5 episode and sent Tabitha home first, then somehow was able to stay, THEN sent Keta home! I get it, Tabitha took her shoes off in the lipsync, a big no-no, but come on, Fred! I don’t care if she’s your good Judy, send Vivaldi home!

That was my least favorite of all time. Of course we've all felt the heavy hand of production through all the franchises at different times but this was so blatant and objective. It wasn't a judging issue-it was breaking the contractual rules. I had enjoyed season 1 overall so much and was really disappointed by the Vivaldi decision.

Bosco literally won 3 challenges. they only saved Jorgeous during their bottom 2 lipsync so they could pull off their GOLDEN chocolate twist, but I think her spot in the finale was deserved.

Kana Warrior and Kandy Zyanide from Thailand SS2 should be on the list. They comeback for no reason (also Kana be in bottom a lot) but they cut into final list over Bandit and Vanda Miss Joaquim. It gets me mad everytime.

You're so right, that last runway win for Kana was especially underserved. I don't think she should've been brought back over Maya B'Haro either when they were eliminated together but Maya had the far better run on the show.

And what if i said Daya deserved to win or to be at least top2? She was brough back but then gave us one of the best story arc, some of the most unique runways of the season and was robbed several time of a win (rumix) or high (ball) placement, she was low in some challenge she could be safe and in the bottom on that last challenge just so she could eliminate Deja and Jorgeous.

I am surprised too because Luquisha could've gone home on the first episode and she clearly lost the lip sync against Ava Hangar in the fifth episode. Mera Mangle really likes to hate on Elecktra Bionic despite she actually did well in challenges when she was called safe and she should've won one or two challenge(s).

I would add Silky in S11. She should have been double-eliminated with Nina on the makeover, and even her wins didn’t really impress. Like Snatch Game, it was just bad overall so it felt less like she won and more like she was the default winner. She was also given passes. Shuga should have been safe and Silky in the bottom on the magic episode.

With Art, she shouldn't have been there in the finale but she is still my fave Aussie drag queen. Honestly had they done Down Under without Ru, I could imagine Art would have been the host choice (which honestly would have been better due to the lack of cultural knowledge from Ru and Michelle, imo)

@@charles-edouardmorel3173 I hadn’t heard about that. I figured she was doing UKvtW since she was already in the UK filming QotU and that they had filmed those one right after the other. And like I said, I don’t know how much time she had between the filming of AS5 and filming those.

Jujubee said in an interview that one of her designers cancelled on her a few weeks before filming so she had to a meeting with another designer to rush things together quickly so that she had something to wear. This is why most of her looks were not on Drag Race runway level and looked questionable in comparison to her All Stars 5 package as well as the fact that she was really stressed because of that which affected her performance.

How Pearl got to the season 7 finale still baffles me to this day

I could not disagree more with Bosco, honestly I connected with her dry wit and sarcasm most out of anyone on that season.

Yeah that was weird, I've always been for the opinion that if the season was fair the win should've been between Bosco and Daya. They were the only ones that had a good storyline to win throughout the season, to say Bosco didn't deserve to be a finalist doesn't make sense to me.

​@Napoleonno I feel like Willow had a more toned down winner edit, we were told she was strategic, and it was proven at multiple points, she had unique fashion and we were shown her personality all throughout the season. It made you feel like you really connected with them, similar to Yvie's edit. Having other frontrunners alongside willow and keeping 5 queens for the finale really kept the tension and buzz and you didn't know who would win. I think they all deserved it tbh

I mean when Bosco got “eliminated” I knew she had the golden chocolate bar cause she already had two wins and after that she got another win so I don’t think it was controversial for her to be in the finale

I highly disagree with Yvonne Nightstand being controversial because she literally was like the top queen in those last like 4 episodes before the finale. And saying Kelly should’ve replaced her, when Kelly had some very shaky weeks and should honestly only have had 1 win. So I disagree and think Yvonne’s placement was well deserved

Silvana's a loveable queen who's great at comedy challenges but she's been saved from low/bottom placement literally every other challenge and it's frustrating to see

Pearl was the favorite fan and the one with the most support from the general public, which is controversial, at that time no one wanted Violet and Ginger and it was all about Katya and Pearl.

I think Art talked about her getting to come back because producers fucked up her lip-sync and they had to re-film all of it, even tho she was already eliminated lol. I guess production felt bad since she already had a show with them so they brought her back to make amends

I recently saw Art perform. She mentioned she is working on a book which will include the reason she was brought back.

Oooh Vivaldi making it was incensing. Keta did well in that week's challenge. They literally put her in the bottom while criticizing her for doing well that week. Cheating should have disqualified Vivaldi hands down. Her staying feels worse for her than getting the Willam could have.

Imho it was worth including Jonbers in the top 4 cuz otherwise we would never have had her amazing reaction meme to Danny winning! 🤣

Arguably all of the Vs the World (and if rumors are true global all stars) is the controversy of the favoritism. UK had all 4 queens from a Rupaul judged show make it. Canada had 1 Canadian queen (who was favored on both seasons) and 2 season 11 queens who were with Brooke Lynn. I won't comment on what the rumors say but it looks the same with Ru judging

Pearl should have never made it to the finale of season 7 for even after she technically "woke up", she never really care to still be there in the show. Kennedy Davenport should have been in the season 7 finale with Violet and Ginger over Pearl considering how hard Kennedy worked in the show and Kennedy very clearly showed how much she cared about being in the show too.

With ukvtw i heard that jujubee was having family problems right before getting on and ontop of that most of the designers bailed on her last minute so she went in basically at her lowest

I think a huge part of Baga’s mood on Vs the world was after Jimbo was so unfairly eliminated.

23:50 I wanted to like Yvonne, I really did, but she never really stood out above the others. Then, when they did start to shine a light on her, it was very offputting. Im thinking of that makeover where she was so bratty and straight up mean to her makeover partner, and then they rewarded her with the win? It just left a bad taste in my mouth. She had probably the worst makeover but was able to stay over Kelly, who was dominating at that point and was my pick to win (though I do think it was strategic on their part to get rid of the other big frontrunner in favor of someone who didnt really pose a threat to Pandora)

Ellie 💎 is always the one that sticks out the most to me. She seems so lovely and sooooo creative but when she wasn’t in the bottom for the rusical I gagged

juju wasn’t necessarily burnt out by ukvtw. in the finale she said before she left she saw a picture of her mother and it brought up a lot of unresolved emotions. juju just wasn’t in the right headspace

Kandy was different compared to Kameron and Bosco. Kameron got a double save so she was saved by Ru. Bosco got the twist of the season. Kandy was literally told to sashay away but then Ru stopped her as she was leaving. She got eliminated. There's a difference.

Personally the most undeserving finalists for me are Kelly Roller, Jonbers, and Kendall Gender. Kelly did terribly on España 3 which was especially egregious when it was one of the most talented casts of all time, she shouldn't have won the comedy duos challenge at all and even if she was still brought back she deserved to go home after losing to Bestiah in the lip sync. Even in the final episode it should've been her and Hornella lip syncing but they did everything in their power to save Kelly despite her obviously never being contender for the crown. Jonbers was the worst kind of "fashion queen" where her fashion is all made by actual designers and purchased by her while everything she made on the season was hot garbage. She should've lip synced against Peppa in episode 3 and gone home, but she was dragged through that and later Snatch Game (where she was easily a contender for bottom 3) and the makeover where she did the worst by far. She even got an underserved double shantay when she underperformed in the lip sync. The fact that she still had an ego going into the finale was INSANE. Kendall (and Adriana a little) felt like the only contestant who got major favouritism on Canada 3. Her 1 win would've gone to Icesis if they didn't focus on the fact that she ran out of time, and she should've lip synced in the girl groups and makeover.

I disagree with Mami Watta, she could’ve won episode 2, she could’ve won the performance thingy, and doing good constantly should be bring you to the finale, maybe not win but finale for sure.

I don't think track record matters in terms of who wins the season. As long as the queen dominates the finale even with no wins throughout the competition, that queen can win fairly. However, in Elecktra Bionic's case, she shouldn't have won because Farida Kant dominated the entire season and possibly the finale as well (haven't watched the season) but I'm assuming.

Haven’t started it yet but I feel like half of the Holland finalist will be on this.

I wouldn't actually say Elecktra was a controversial *finalist*, just a controversial winner. She did stand out in the season as one of the most polished queens and she always succeeded in the challenges. Edit: also Shannel was better than Raven and Juju? The judges were pretty hard on her and praised only Chad, as far as I remember.
