Yeah lol yall love to jump on mental “health.” Addiction is a disease that requires treatment and support, it’s not “mental health.” Yall call sleeping in and ordering Uber eats “mental health.”

I really appreciate Katya being so open about her addiction because addiction is so rampant within the gay community and it’s not talked about enough on drag race

The whole scene is about staying on the hedonistic treadmill. Drug abuse is inevitable in such an empty existence.

27:33 Big Brother is actually a great example of this because we have live feeds (or well, had in BBCAN), so we know how long the actual fights are. Big Brother Season 10 has the infamous and iconic "Keesha's Birthday" fight, which was 3 straight hours of fighting (The whole live feed footage is still on KZread), but the edit managed to pretty accurately condense it to 15 minutes. Impressive considering they only had like...2 days to edit it.

The season 9 cheerleading challenge has injured more than who actually said it on the show. I was told it injured Trinity, Eureka, Charlie, and a couple other people that I'm not thinking of right now

I would love a video going over best post-season runs. Like queens who didn’t do the greatest on drag race but built an empire post drag race. Names that come mind initially is Trixie (S7), Maddie morphosis, James Mansfield, Vanjie, technically Kornbread, etc.

25:19 Willam was meant to be on AS1 but was bumped when PhiPhi dropped out due to a DUI (production told her it was because she didn’t have enough beef with other cast queens). She wrote the song RuPaulogize about the experience. Porkchop Parker was meant to be on AS2 and even did promo work for WOW and was bumped last minute, it’s why she has a guest appearance on a few eps. Stacey Lane Matthews had the same thing happen to her for AS4, and its why they dedicated a challenge to her, and she pops up periodically.

I caught her first live before She deleted and repisted and She did definitely say She was going to a kind of long term rehab cuz the 30 day programs never help her.

Sending all my positive vibes to Katya! 💕 As much as Katya says she hates work, she is a hard worker and is always gogogogo. She’s legit always working on something and/or touring. Plus UNHhh, BATB, and Netflix. The burnout is probably really really real. I know I am MUCH more susceptible to relapsing when I get burnt out and stressed. It’s amazing that Katya recognizes that in herself and has made the choice to step away for a bit and It’s times like this when I realize that, as much as we may hate our day jobs, most of us at least get PTO or sick days. Drag queens don’t, so it must be hard to take a break when it’s needed.

In terms of production storyline’s and not playing ball, I think a good recent example is Alyssa Hunter. That first episode of s14, it felt like the production was trying to make Alyssa the pageant perfection rival to Willow’s unique drag aesthetic. (The PhiPhi to Willow’s Sharon, if you will), but I don’t think Alyssa was wound up giving production what they wanted, especially after Willow won the Ball over her. Next episode, Alyssa was gone.

No they actually get 2 on set when cams are on for untucked but ive heard several Queens say that some queens don't drink and they give theirs all to one or 2 girls and they will get blasted before lip sync ,more than we will ever know they said.I think that was GOT Mike or someone that said that and just alot of them have.

Some of the girls has talked about how they are watching challenges or lipsyncs on an iPad during their confessionals.
