Dave Helman sits down with another NFL draft prospect, quarterback Spencer Rattler out of South Carolina, on a special episode of the NFL on FOX Podcast! Dave and Rattler discuss Rattler's journey from a featured member of the Netflix Documentary "QB1" in high school to his time at Oklahoma before transferring to South Carolina. They also talk about Rattler's relationships with some of the top quarterbacks in this year's class, winning the Senior Bowl MVP, and fellow South Carolina draft prospect WR Xavier Legette.

He is definitely a talent. If he gets in the right situation that allows him to grow and develop for a couple of seasons without being throwed into the fire he could a good nfl QB

Dave Helman looks like if Jason Kelce and Sam Howell had a kid.
I'm a Gamecock fan and i can tell you one thing. He is used to pressure. Our o line was probably the worst in power 5 and he can take a hit. He has a good arm. He is about 6' 215 , little undersized. His speed is fair but not great. Not a running QB but does a good job picking his time to run and is usually successful. Has to work on his footwork. Seems to be throwing off his back foot most of the time. Probably a habit he developed anticipating the nonstop pressure. He was passing every down and the defenses knew it. Don't know if he'll be successful but definitely a steal in the 5th round. I can say with a certainty that he is better than Penix , Nix , and Mccarthy. He is not going to a great team , but he's not headed to a dumpster fire either. If Carr struggles or has an injury he may see some playing time. He will not be fazed by the big stage. Another problem he had in college, is that he was learning a new offense every year. Besides the o line he only had one receiver he could count on. A lot of dropped balls in tight windows. Also threw a lot of interceptions. Talented enough to stay in the league for 5-8 years.
