10:00 For those who don't get the joke about Dracula's hypnosis mishap, his last command (you will remember nothing of what I tell you) was taken very literally by her. Then compounding that mistake he said "that you remember" which was taken as a literal command to remember her original instructions. That is what Dracula got for not being very specific about his hypnotic commands. Dracula can only blame himself here.

Romanian here. He is a hero only to nationalist psychopaths who think a sadistic mass murdering tyrant was a good guy because he killed our supposed "enemies". He actually killed more Romanians than Turks but hey let's not let historical fact get in the way of nationalist mythology. He also levied extremely oppressive taxes and started needless wars that devastated much of the country. The people who celebrate him today are usually extremely racist, islamophobic bigots and fascists.

Despite history portraying Vlad the III of Wallachia as a monster, his story is a bit more tragic. Now he definitely did horrible things, however the Ottomans that he was fighting did equally horrible things to the people of Wallachia. Vlad was defending his nation and people from their oppressive rulers, and due to being severely outnumbered, Vlad resorted to fear tactics. Which worked surprisingly well compared to the power of the Ottoman empire.

I may not be a doctor, but I do know that a Garlic Enema does wonders for permeating a chicken... Well a Roast Chicken... Perhaps a garlic enema would make her Vampire Proof.

I saw Dracula 1992 in 2005 and I watched this in 2008. So it was fun ride for me as it was mostly based on Francis Ford coppola's version.

The weird B/P sound used by the actor who plays Dr Seward is the result of a real speech impediment. It's a coping method for stutterers where you overemphasize difficult letters to minimise the risk of actually stuttering. Rowan Atkinson (the star of Mr Bean) does it too. In Blackadder, there's a character who goes by the name of Bob and Edmond Blackadder (Rowan Atkinson) always says it with this odd emphasis on the letter "B". I don't know if Dr Seward's actor does have a stutter or if he's just pretending but it sounds very accurate.

Actually, what they were spoofing regarding accent was this strange, hybrid British accent actors use to speak with back in those early years of Hollywood. Watch some of them and you'll catch it.

Good and easy Carbonara sauce for Spaghetti .. Heat a tea spoon of olive oil, put bacon cubes to roast in it shortly, add liquid cream and pressed out garlic and let it cook up again shortly on low heat. Reduce the heat to a minimum and add grated Parmesan while stirring until the sauce is getting thicker. Add pepper and salt and a lil bit of pulverized nutmeg at last and 2 raw egg yolks, stir it short. 👌🏻 Bon appétit ! 🍝
