DR200 On Steroids?! Why And How?!
This DR200 race build will be an ironman contender at the 24 hour endurance race in November 2020. This is not a joke. I say again, this is not a joke. I actually have this thing feeling like a beast and stayed within a very reasonable budget to do it. I bought the bike for $800 and have about $500 in parts into it.

I'm sorry you're poor but I love your poverty builds. Promise me if you ever make it big, that you'll keep doing this for the rest of us. Sincerely, The Poors.
I AM THAT ONE PERSON!!!!
I live in Maine. I think I just saw your seat go passed my kitchen window.
Dude i'm all over this !!!!
As a owner of a dr200 i see it as a good idea ya its kinda heavy but the thing is a tank and in the right hands can woop some serious ass
Gabe, I wouldn't care much about a DR200 video if it wasn't someone like you standing on the foot-pegs. You are a talented rider with decent mechanical skills and a lot of heart. You are riding a super-affordable old scooter that would otherwise be completely inadequate for the challenge. You have a compelling story and shoot good video. You also tell your story well. I am happy to do what little I have to help. Best wishes, good luck & Die Trying ! -Dave Martin
The only reason you guys got the DR200 in the states is probably because Suzuki wanted to try get some more money. it’s not meant for racing or even trail riding it’s a farm bike. it was built for Australia and New Zealand’s terrain not for a race track but still I do Enjoy watching people race these farm bikes.
Just bought my girlfriend one of these because she's 5'3 and im telling her. Babe. I know it wasnt fast on the test ride. I KNOW 100% we can make this one of the best bikes you've ever ridden, because I watched all your vids years ago.
Thank you for doing stuff that people want to see instead of the new latest most expensive thing out there
One of my favorite dirt bike channels, keep it up man!
I'm so pumped about this build!!! Thank you for all the effort you're putting into creating content even through tough times!
This channel does not get the attention it deserves. Great content! Keep it coming!
Love this video! Glad to see you back and I hope 2020 starts to treat you a little bit better.
Glad to see you back on youtube ! You should do a in depth series about all you did to your DR200, weight savings, carb tuning and all would give you many additional videos out of the same project so little investment besides time. Keep it up man !
This is by far the most entertaining and hilarious video I have seen all FREAKING MONTH (saw this at the end of November). I would watch this kind of content over a full Yamaha trail build everyday, no question!!! Definitely picking up a shirt brother. sorry about your struggles, hang in there!
FINALLY! You are my new favourite dirtbike channel. Keep the great content coming! 💪🏾
Excellent as always Gabe, in a Venn diagram of competent riders, great riding footage, down to earth mechanical experience and ability and great videography there is you and no one I enjoy as much watching. All the best as always from Aus :)
I love your videos! The transition of this bike is incredible. I wish you a very good luck for the race!
So happy to see your content again. Can't wait for the next vid.
