That's way too complicated for after effects or premiere, and it's literally just cgi

great video, for the next video i would like a final version of the effect at the end. Have 2 competitions the first who got it better after 1h and the next who got it better but this time you have all the time u need!

My first thought was to make it practical with steel wool but, you guys killed it!

I think the portal in that movie is not a CGI effect , its generated by capturing someone hanging firework and moving it in a circles , and the background was black also the the actor was wearing a full black clothes.

Yanick ows this one. It make the most realistic effect, it doesn't matter if he use some 3rd party plugins since the comps goal was make the most realistic portal.... at least he made the portal.
