Listened to this yesterday. Absolutely brilliant stuff. I’ve been following Stefi’s lifting on the side for a few years now, but this really illuminated her knowledge at an entirely different level. I hope you can have her back on soon and for even longer!

I've been experiencing gym withdrawals since the beginning of the covid pandemic and gyms closing. I've lost about 15 lbs of body weight of mostly muscle, and my strength has dropped ~20%. My peak strength levels were mid 2019 with a deadlift of 425. Now, it's likely in the low 300s. Raw strength is one aspect of how much one can deadlift. Neural pathways and form (maximizing leverages almost like a magician) are other aspects. My quickest gains came from consistency, doing what others would be considered overtraining with high volume training and going to near failure often, varying load/rep ranges, and eating a lot.

I find it hard to believe she researched and wrote a book about back pain and has never heard of the book, The Mind Body Connection. By John Sarno. It’s at the top of the list with a basic Google search.
