This reminds me, I want to do a tone matrix for the EHX Mainframe.
Everytime I see a guitar with no headstock I roll my eyes. That is literally the coolest part of a guitar!

I've been thinking about buying this pedal for a long time but I always end up getting a different pedal. Should I buy this pedal or get a hoof. I'm looking for modern tone. Thanks

The frazz continues to be my favorite fuzz pedal that I own. I'm not sure how this compares to a hoof (never played one), or if it does a "modern tone" like you're looking for (it's a high gain gated fuzz which I wouldn't exactly call "modern" but that's subjective) but I'd still highly recommend it because of how tweakable and different you can make this thing sound.

Is it the same pedal? I have the OG version. I think mine sounds better but I play single coil teles exclusively.

Not sure how it differs from an OG version, but it's the same as the ones you can buy right now - only thing unique about mine is the blackout color way.
