    Great video, there is nothing like a perfect marriage or relationship, I learnt that in everything there is always a solution, 5 years ago I and my wife divorced because we were having some difficulties in our marriage but we are back together ,it was a really bad phase but we got through it..

    Could be a narcissism test lol. Good thing you can bring it with you :) If you're playing with someone who really lashes out if they're losing.... Still would prefer to play with someone that doesn't behave like that. Keep the game in decent condition. Looks fun.

    I love this. Great idea. I don't mean to provoke, but they will out themselves. Maybe not after one round, but they all seem to be competitive each in their own way. Even the one who sulks cuz they aren't good with words and aren't willing to play is gonna "show their hand ".

    You have a beautiful house (from what you've shared) -- it's cool to see this different, personal side to you, Dr. Ramani. THANK YOU for doing what you do. Would you be willing to do a video on how to deal with enablers/flying monkeys? It feels like the original narcissist has triangulated or poisoned the well and there's confirmation bias and other things involved but it just feels so jarring to feel the need to defend yourself when these 3rd party relatives assume you're the bad guy. Exhausting and feels so alone. And it feels dangerous to try to "correct the record" and try to correct all the lies and stuff the narcissist said behind one's back. I just want to run away somewhere safe and surround myself with healthy people who understand.

  • @orielwiggins2225

    @orielwiggins2225

    This! Yes, that need for escape to safe people is so real and if you can do that. Only interact with even the enablers on a necessity basis. I mean to the degree you can. I assume yellow rock is about the best you can do in some circumstances, but if you're aware they are enablers it's similar to the narcissistic person. Radical acceptance and all the rest that follows. Sounds like you're already on a great path knowing they aren't safe to defent the truth to. Wise.

    Hi, Dr. Ramani. It's great to see you doing well. I just wanted to let you that you've been such a blessing to me in my journey. I'm the same age as you and have finally moved out this past weekend from the house I shared with my narcissistic spouse of over 36 years. I change my youtube name from time to time to avoid family members. I had Iris-Angela when I was listening frequently to videos based on understanding the abuse I've gone through. I'm going to sign up for classes to continue pursuing knowledge and further myself. I'm so happy to shop for the groceries I need for my health (which he and my mother had wrecked), find my own style and set my own schedule. I think most people take these things for granted. We close on the house today and will be divorcing soon.

    Would you please tell what are signs that a narcissist abuses a child. My mother is a covert narcissist NPD. She has chosen her golden child since birth. the boy. And I feel that she shows some unlike to girl (you know narc mind is sick and I guess she feels her as competition or I dont know what. she just always hated girls) She has got full access to grandchildren (she says and arranges that brother cannot cope with parenting and got keys and half moved to brothers house) The girl was a harmonious and happy child in her first years. now she is 7 and I noticed that she has changed - got tense, insecure and hyperreactive when f.ex. brother takes her toy she overreacts and with pain. My mother never felt shy to show her different attitude towards tho boy and the girl. Which is particularly toxic in such age I guess. Another episode whats coming into my mind from about 2 years ago- Coming to mothers house I found the otherways happy go lucky girl crying on full volume. she was in the room my mother was not near her. Not talking to her, trying to calm. Mother was ignorant. When I came I went to the girl, started to talk and hug try to comfort her and ask mother what happened. Obviously the reason was irritation in girls eyes, which (as mother told happened during the sleeping hour at kindergarten - she had rubed in something in the eye) In that moment what seamed strange to me - that the happy-go-lucky girl was crying so expressively and mother just ignored her. She is a doctor and a supersensitive and hypervigilant feminine covert narcissist trying her best to show off as a perfect caretaker of children to get access to children. An untypical behaviour from bouth the granddaughter and the grandmother. Now telling this I find strange also that a child could not cry that intensively for so many hours - since midday sleep -as minimum for 3 hours. Another short episode I noticed recently - girls 7th birthday. all eyes on her. Cuting the birthday cake. In this moment my mother asks the girl "Anna, did you bake this cake yourself?" (i know this unpleasant intonation so well) She knew well that the cake was brought by the other grandmother. My mother almost lives in brothers house. So such question is so strange.. So do we have information, experiences what signs, changes in childs behaviour we should look for if a child suffers from a narcissist. The girl obviously looses her confidence and peace. And WHAT CAN I DO? An brothers family is mothers main narc resource now, its a hudge risk for me to try to tell something to brother and his wife. Mother has become the top person in that house. The covert narcissist, Mother Theresa.

  • @zandatee

    @zandatee

    Ай бұрын

    Maybe I should risk and tell girls mother to pay attention wether the girl is not loosing her former selfconfidence and harmony? And ask grandmother look after it and encourage her? And demand improvement of this? Would such trick work. Because for my mother its hyper hyper important to get access to this resource. anyway I cannot think how to do it so that it does not look bad from aside. I have to take into account that mother has done some little smear work. It is a classical pattern of behavior in such situations.
