The education system needs to becoming learning facilities, not indoctrination centres.

Great interview! Dr. Leslyn Lewis is my first choice for Canada's next PM

I found the the last federal election so demoralizing that I wasn’t even going to vote for a CPC leader. However Dr. Lewis changed all that! I have some real hope again.....please Canada, open your eyes!

I pray that there will be a great national movement in Canada from coast to coast to coast that will stand in full support of Dr. Leslyn Lewis. May this be her hour!

I enjoyed listening to the answers, ideas & values Dr. Leslyn Lewis espoused in this interview... I find her to be a refreshing change from the other more established CPC political candidates and I sincerely hope that she does well; whether she actually wins the Leadership at this point in time or becomes an integral part of the Conservative team. Canadians need people like her in our Gov't.

First interview I've seen with her She seems very intelligent and genuine

Dr. Leslyn Lewis, is a Toronto lawyer of 20+ years with three post-graduate degrees (MBA, MA in Environmental Studies and PhD in International Law), a black immigrant from Jamaica. Her mainstream media interviewers have expressed shock that she would dare “reopen the abortion issue.” Her characteristically calm, respectful response is that she believes in the sanctity of all human life and in democracy and that over 90% of Canadians oppose sex-selective abortions. About that many also oppose coerced abortions and funding foreign abortions. She similarly explains her many other policy proposals, including reversing many punitive environmental and leftist laws passed by the present government in the past five years, especially those that have reduced the freedoms that Canadians formerly enjoyed when she was growing up here. For example, she would repeal C-16 with its required speech. She wants her children to enjoy free speech too. She also indicates that she does not march in Pride Parades but she has successfully defended LGBTQ+ clients in court. She's clearly a breath of fresh air on the Canadian political scene.

For Leslyn, I appreciate your enthusiasm for free speech and I hope its a true value if you become the CPC leader, we need a true leader more now than ever.

If someone says "free speech is hate speech" do you want them to be the next leaders of institutions or government? You don't lead by putting value on 'your' feelings, but by how people feel about values.

the guy running the free speech club doesnt even understand that hate speech is free speech. america makes this very clear in their first amendment. hate speech is not inciting violence, its subjective.

Sounds good, but something just doesn't quite sit right with me. She never really seems to call out the leftists in direct terms, e.g. she never talks about neo-Marxists, postmodernists, etc. She even endorses some of their positions.
