In the first season of the DR. KILDARE TV series, Dick York and Dick Sargent appeared in back-to-back episodes as guest stars. Several years later, Sargent would replace York as Darrin Stephens on BEWITCHED. Talk about foreshadowing! All five seasons of DR. Richard Chamberlain was gay, but is that important? He was an actor with range, and he had the 'doctor's sensitivity'. RC was suited for leading man's roles and he filled the Kildare role well, emanating compassion and refinement.
Anyone know if you can steam Dr. Kildare anywhere these days? Warner Archive streaming is gone
