*I just had a procedure where I had to be sedated with propofol yesterday and it made me watch this video. I was out in SECONDS!! But I was awaken in 30 mins but very very very sleepy. Michael had a high tolerance, Everytime he woken up he had to get more to be knocked out again. This is very sad that a person builds up enough tolerance to continue this injection over and over without dying years before.Michael have been using this drug for years*

Deasha Norf Management propofol is meant to be used every now and then for medical purposes and can only be administered by license trained people. And your constantly monitored. It’s only meant to knock you out for maybe 30 mins long enough to do a procedure. But he was given too much of it.

Deasha Norf Management No that's not true. Before Murray gave him every day for 60 days MJ only got propofol sporadically and years before 2009. Nobody gave him in 2009 before Apr or in 2008 2007 2006. And the dosage Murray used in May June was not bigger than what is used in hospitals except here there was no infusion pump

Did they not have heart monitor on? Wouldn't him moving to grab the medication create a change in his monitors? Regardless they are doctors and it is their responsibility to uphold their oath even if someone wants, demands or threatens them.

Yes everything he says I can confirm is correct based on my knowledge. But, here’s some things they’re not considering: 1) they spent hours trying to get Michael to sleep giving him benzodiazepines, propofol. 2) He may have secretly been taking Demerol. 3) Michael wouldn’t have known how to inject himself or any medical practice (unless he asked other doctors or private medics who gave him medicines in private). But the saline bag was cut open and the propofol bottle was put into it. Michael could’ve done this. He may have had a high tolerance to Propofol as other doctors had given it to him. I’m not saying Conrad is innocent, his medical practice was terrible and some of his explanations don’t make sense. But what I’m saying is, a doctor being paid $150,000 a month has a very small incentive to neglect his patient and be careless with drugs. It is possible Michael did this himself. Though, I wouldn’t blame or judge him because he may not have been able help himself. I’m trying to consider different possibilities.

I wonder if he used midazolam. If they're looking to heavily sedate someone, that would be the logical option. He was also not at all in good shape physically. It's all about getting sufficient oxygen because it's not at all uncommon to stop breathing on propofol and why it's used in ventilated patients. But as long as oxygenated blood is getting to the brain with sufficient sats to avoid hypoxia, then it's a matter of resolving the problem that caused the arrest. Propofol is often used in conjunction with fentanyl and midazolam as they're different types of drug with different half lives. I think he must have had a huge tolerance.. it's acquired rapidly when a substance is employed frequently. It's a huge dose. We use 5mg vials. Any decent doc would have had Physostigmine on hand..they should always be together. But maybe his veins were just destroyed- that happens - still if he has a head then it can go in the carotid.

Thats still enough to keep a person in the ICU sedated for an hour. Keep in mind most ICU patients have tolerance. Tolerance doesnt increase by fourfold which is very extensive to say the least.
