His wry humor, openness about his life, his group: loved this interview. I loved this book, which I read in Spanish. I was an immigrant child with immigrant parents, living first in a segregated African American, becoming a US African American. So much of what he says inspires, but also, as I’m aging, retiring, facing dementia, it is just really a comfort. What a treasure this interview is. I’m psyched about living this life... again.

@@kennethshawn2866 I cannot figure out what that word "instablaster" means. Would you like to explain? Best, Curious

Are you sure he is not a psychopath narcissist being a star therapist in his own mind and playing everyone around him - both patients and colleagues? The group therapy association is a therapy cult teaching the next generation of psychopaths how to game patients so they can pay their bills. If you look at the profile of these therapists, many of them just look like weird people you wouldn’t want to have any influence on you if you were following basic common sense. A lot of bad doctors wrote books and have degrees from Harvard and Stanford. This is no guarantee of the quality and legitimacy of therapy.

WOW! This sounds more like an opinion than a fact. I am really sorry you feel this way. Therapy has helped millions of people over the years. THAT IS A FACT
