Sure they are, some people die in accidents due to wearing seatbelts. Some people chose not to wear them. Over time the data has shown that wearing a seatbelt reduces risk of serious injury and death (when in an accident) but doesn’t 100% avoid it. You are not guaranteed to get into an accident while driving, but over time you most likely will. The analogy might not be perfect but it’s pretty solid.

These two men are obviously evil! It’s disgusting!

If you won't even take the most basic precautions, then you don't deserve your 'freedom'. Not my opinion in isolation, but also the line taken in an increasing number of countries: in Europe, for example, Austria and Germany will be introducing mandatory vaccination from February next year. I take my hat off to them for refusing to pander to the whims of people who think saying no makes them something special, and if that is what it takes, then bring it on. I certainly shan't be losing any sleep over it.

Its called informed consent, not informed convincing. Doctor provides patient with information and patient makes decision to consent or decline. The end.

Gosh I love how he glossed right over the part where she said yes I'm around people who are catching it with the vaccine. Since we now know that transmission and infection aren't affected by the Vax.

But transmission and infection ARE affected. Just because there are exceptions, doesn't mean it doesn't work. Like the doctor says, just because someone died in an accident while wearing a seatbelt doesn't mean you shouldn't wear one. Because we know that your chances of surviving the accident are better when you wear the seatbelt. Likewise, your chances of surviving or even avoiding Covid are better if you're vaccinated. Honestly, at this point, I'm starting to not care very much if people are still refusing to get vaccinated. We've done everything we can to try and end this pandemic. Yet, there's still so much stubbornness among parts of the population.

What would be an interesting piece of information from drug trials is how long has it taken for serious side effects to show up. There must be data for other medicines including vaccines where they have been pulled after several years (maybe not)

So she can get Covid and perhaps end up in the hospital and maybe on a vent. Maybe she can also infect a small child or two at the grocery store, or someone who can't get the vaccine due to allergies before she is in the hospital. Maybe they'll even die, but hey, it's her choice. Good for her standing up to that. We should all be proud of someone who is willing to give up her career rather than decrease her risk of dying because she doesn't want to be told what to do.

no they talked about that near the end. Less likely to get covid, less likely to transmit it. There are no absolutes Blufnk, just probabilities. The negative probabilities drop when more people are vaccinated.

Use your brain and think why we do not hear about these viruses. hint: could it be, because most of us get vaccinated from these viruses these viruses are unheard of? Anderson Cooper is the bully framing and shaping the direction of this show. Its almost as if Gupta is starting to show a bit of guilt. Notice how Anderson Cooper quickly dismisses and ends the show after Gupta brings up the mandate as the Nurses reason for refusing the vaccine. The conversation ends and there isn't a real follow up. I can only imagine Guptas cockiness was beat down by Joe Rogans facts and straight forward questions. I'd hate to have to be put on the hotseat, defending my whole organization, especially when you know they were bad actors.

Yup I'm a high risk type 1 diabetic smoker, I believe forcing it is crossing a major line that should not be crossed. @@catmom7628 yeah most people who get it were not wearing an N95 when they got it... and many people also get it by touching things and then touching their eyes or mouth. The majority of people who actually protect themselves and think about everything they touch won't get it... Just pretend that all things in public have poison on them, and you have to clean your hands after touching anything... many people will go out and touch door handles and gas pumps and not think about it, anything could have it on it

Same with Covid. And your risk of clotting is higher from Covid, if you're unvaccinated. None of these arguments ever confront the facts of the issue. The data is there. @@megshafer3961 In reality, due to the "unprotected" person discovering that he is ill (clear symptoms) and will staying away from others very early, and its during the time when the possibility of spreading is greatest. while the 2 times "protected" get vague symptoms and he considers himself protected (against becoming infected), means that it takes longer time before he concludes that he actually appears infected, and during that time the possibility is greatest to spread it, and often he does not change his behaviour around others until he gets a test that shows positive. My full jab friend did not notice the symptoms in beginning of week, he was at work hole week, met friends, went to shop, restaurant and pub, hang around me hole evening, I drive him home and at Sunday, he start to think about his lower voice that start in first day in the week and now the food did not taste so much, so he take a home test for fun, off course positive. so now when he think hmmm "i hade possibly symptoms already last weekend, shiiii . . .t So he become a super spreader, me unjab, did not get infected. I think the nurse know what she is talking about...
