Dr. Gilbert Hosts: Urinary Dysfunction & Parkinson’s Disease

Many people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) experience difficulties with their urinary function. Urinary frequency, urgency, leakage, and incontinence are all common and challenging problems that can affect your quality of life. Yet because these symptoms can seem embarrassing or private, many people don’t want to talk about it, even with their own doctors. To help, APDA brought an expert right to your home, a urologist with expertise in the urological disorders of Parkinson’s disease. He answered questions live and offered tips to help you improve your urologic issues and reduce the stress, worry, and discomfort these symptoms can bring.
