This is the best explanation of DR&Expo Ive seen. Sorry I missed the live stream. But me personally, I don't nor have I ever used any expo. Call me old school I guess.... DR I do use sometimes for fixed wing...

Yes sir, everyone is going to have a different setting that they like. On the full length live stream, some like expo, some don't like expo, some just set the radio up and never touch DR or Expo.... Just depends on what they like.

Great contain I stable to your channel today trying to set up me new heli I haven’t flown for about 8 year . Last time i flew was with me trex 600 nitro flybar I just got a synergy N5 and trying to set up the flybarless system Can you please answer this question... I have a futaba 2.4 10 J with the r3008 sb receiver do I need to plug the receiver to the microbeast? Or I can used the microbeast straight up ? Hope you can help thanks

Hey Tony! I'm back flying..... And I need help lol. I got a matek f765 wing FC board and I've never setup a flight control board. If you have any experience with FC boards please let me know. Also how do you get CPPM output to work on a lemon rx. Thanks in advance.

Nice, welcome back! I have never set this board up, so I'm not 100% sure on the setup procedure. I have setup FC's before, but only for quads, and I did do that little AS3X. Different from this one though. You can definitely post up on the forum, I'm sure someone there has set this board up before. And did you mean CPPM or CCPM? Best to post that one on the forum as well since I can only get over here about once a week or so.

I use only low or high rates, I take off and land in high rate. Don't like to change rates mid flight, even w/ the heli's. Builds take off and landing skill's. Medium rates, have to think about that one. Lol Too busy making my Pixhawks run my multirotors right now. got rid of my dji controllers for Pixhawk 4's. Hope I did the right thing LOL.

Everyone definitely needs to try it out and find their own settings. Like you, some don't like messing with it and just want one setting for everything. Others, like me, want very high rates for 3D flying, but lower rates for taking off and landing easier. To each their own.

@@RcHelpDotCom What I am saying is w/ heli's I only fly in high rates no matter the mode Idle up i,2, or 3. Its responsive for 3-D for sure. Just never had a reason to program for mid rates. I might maiden in low rates, if everything is cool then go to high rates . Nice using the servo and rod on the diagram. Good start for a video series.
