@@vgkk5637 Actually, this scene wasn't script the producers were messing with the chair with remote control and Dr. Evil just went with it, it was supposed to be edited out but they stuck with it.

His 1st lines after the chair moving aren’t in character and you can hear a producer say “get a bucket” at the end.

Fun fact, Mike Myers was actually malfunctioning in the scene. The directors were so impressed with how the chair stayed in character that they decided to keep it.

The Moon Unit Zappa joke is my favorite joke in this movie. I remember hearing “Moon Unit Alpha” in the theater and thinking, “Oh my god, I know what’s coming next,” and it did and it was amazing.

I like how the timing of the chair stopping implies that he actually performed a successful exorcism.

I love how they kept this in the movie. The chair freaking out was totally ad libbed by the crew and Mike Myers really thought he was going to get sick, LOL.

The spit sound is what kills me! I never knew this scene was legit, that just makes it ten times funnier. I wonder if he really threw up after they cut the camera.

A little fun-fact for anyone who's interested: The chair legitimately was malfunctioning on-set. They considered cutting it out, but seeing as how Michael Meyers stayed in character, they kept the scene in. :]

***** Though I believe this, this is cut like a scene, vs just having a long take of the chair spinning. But it's intercut with close ups and reactions. So basically I'm saying that though what you say isn't farfetched, this was still turned into part of the story, if that makes sense. Like it happened and then they shot a close up of 'acting' let's say because it would be planned. I am an editor. Clearly I know how to talk about making movies.

The fact that this was ad-libbed makes the later scene where Mini-Me's chair malfunctions- launching him up into the rafters/roof supports- even better.

His reaction when Frau screams was fucking priceless!!!

It's stuff like this that makes me like Dr. Evil more than Austin Powers lol

Dr Evil's reaction to nausea was like looking at myself in a mirror when waking up hungover.

Gosh people he just wants a freaking rotating chair and sharks with freaking lasers on their freaking heads

It’s pretty amazing that the chair was actually possessed by the demon from The Exorcist (1973). Mike Myers ad-libbed the whole thing and the producers kept it in, giving you the scene we have today!

The chair scene was filmed accidentally while the film crew was playing with the chair remote control while Mike was still seated. He improvised so magnificently that they decided to put it in the film.

That spit at the end seals the scene. Classic.

That chair rotates so aggressively that I'd imagine the electric motor is a big one.

"The power of Christ compels you!"

They said that the people behind the scene were just goofing off with the controls and messing with Mike Myers, knowing that the scene will be cut and removed (as a blooper/deleted scene), but it was so funny and fitting for the movie, they didn't cut it and kept it in the film.

When I first saw this, I hadn't seen the exorcist yet, so I didn't get the reference, and it was the same way when I watched Scary Movie 2. Thankfully, despite these hilarious parodies, it didn't effect my experience when I saw The Exorcist for the first time. That film had me so shocked after the crucifix sequence, that I was definitely not laughing during the exorcism sequence.

Has a moon base with high-powered laser. Rotating chair malfunctions.

All i asked for was a frickin rotating chair!!!.

I like the part where he attempts to exorcise his chair the best. But you left out Mini-Me getting launched!
