Zayd Abbas Don't believe any religion without carefully considering all the available evidence (historical or otherwise). Ask yourself "Does this make sense?". I can't worship a God who advocates marriage to nine year old girls. I can't worship a God who says "Kill everyone who doesn't believe in me." I cannot follow a religion that gives no assurance of salvation. My God died for my sins so that I might live for Him. Why would anyone worship a God who deceived an entire generation into believing that Jesus died on the cross, thus creating a false religion that has persisted for 2000 years? If Allah deceived Jesus's followers into believing Jesus had been resurrected, what else is Allah deceiving Muslims about? Ask yourself these questions with an open mind and see how your own opinion will change.

John Shelton, I think you might misunderstand the idea of abrogation. If I said that Jesus abrogated certain things when He came, would you disagree? There is a stark difference between Judaism and Christianity in terms of practices, but Christianity most certainly has it's roots Judaism. The same accusations regarding abrogation have also applied to Christianity for the longest time. The problem with abrogation is that in Islam, it is used to deceive both their believers as well as non-believers. Most people don't even realise the existence of abrogation, which is why Islam can present itself as peaceful, even when the latter half their so-called prophet's ministry was bloody to the core, which is what fundamental Muslims (not radical by the way) do by carrying out jihad. As Christians, what is different is the mode of forgiveness and salvation. We don't sacrifice lambs year after year anymore because the perfect Lamb of God, that is, Jesus Christ, took its place. So we don't do things the way the Jews do. Sounds exactly like abrogation, doesn't it? When we share this gospel, does it sound like we are deceiving people? The Jews have their covenant, and the gentiles (the rest of us) have theirs.The purpose has not changed in that God wants to redeem people.

If God have us what we deserve, we would all be in hell, there would be no reconciliation and we’d be condemned, every single one of us to eternal punishment. Instead he lived a life we couldn’t live, died the life we deserved to die and resurrected on the 3rd day so that we could be made right with God and this not by our own doing (our good works are like dirty rags in God’s eyes) but by recognising our condition, repenting of our sins, turning to Him and putting our trust completely in the finished work of Jesus on that old rugged cross. The Koran states no one can change Allah's words. If the Torah and the Gospels were inspired by Allah, like the Koran states, then the Torah and the Gospels were Allah's words. How then, were people able to change Allah's words.

I do agree with much of what he says but the best "Apologia" was the way the Gentiles saw Christians act and behave (and their willingness to die for their belief). ..They tended to really care for one another and administered love and charity to the all the needy and actually practiced what they preached.. That was the TRIGGER!!.. Nowadays we try to win over non Christian or Atheists through arguments and reasoning..using apologetic talking points but apart from following certain christian rituals for all other purposes living life exactly like other secular non believers. One needs both. Rotarians, atheists, Hindus and Muslims can all demonstrate loving and caring behaviour. Why should that swing non believers towards Christianity? We have forgotten how to explain and defend the Gospel. David did not impact Nabeel by being loving and caring because Nabeel experienced that in his Muslim family. He impacted Nabeel by defending the Gospel. It was Randy's defence of the Gospel while David was in prison that resulted in the latter's conversion to Christianity. "By their fruit you will know them." David's changed life bears ample evidence of much fruit.

Hey David, Aaron Paterson here from Australia. If you get the time could you consider doing a video on "WERE THERE ANY FEMALE PROPHETS IN ISLAM?" I ask this as Muslim scholars differ on whether women were perfect enough to be prophets. Muslim women said stuff in the Quran but because they were women (not male) they didnt fit the criteria because they were imperfect, not equal to men. Prophet Muhammad describes Maryam as perfect but it seems not perfect enough to be a prophet. Therefore a whole chapter in the Quran is dedicated to Maryam (Mary) a non-prophet. There are at least two incidences of poisoning after Mohammed invaded Khaibar. It's clear that they were two distinct attempts at poisoning. The Jewess one appears to have succeeded. But the one described in Hadith 551 is more authentic because the Jews called Mohammed by his birth name Al-Qasim (Kathem in other translations). There are many such narrations. Here are some of them. Narrated Abu Huraira: When Khaibar was conquered, a (cooked) sheep containing poison, was given as a present to Allah's Apostle. Actually, one of them says, “Hey, I can help you beat the rap for this! You won’t have to go to jail, and you won’t have to pay one dime in restitution!” The other one says, “Look, you have a real problem. I can get you help or counseling for whatever it is that is causing you to resort to crime. A human being can never purify himself/herself PERFECTLY. That means he/she can never reach Moksha! You need a Divine Redeemer/Saviour who can purify you by His Grace alone. This Saviour is Jesus Christ who is God became human in order to bring us to Salvation.

The human being CHOSE TO BE BAD by abusing the gift of freedom. God did not make 'Satans' but he made GOOD ANGELS but some chose to rebel against God and so became 'Satans'. God cannot give freedom and at the same time take away freedom! God does not make a PERFECT human. If he makes a perfect human, that would be God ...a duplication of self. Human sin creates a disordered world. This is the message of the first book of the Bible-Genesis, told in myth form (common to all ancient literature) but reveals a profound truth about the world and human beings.

Not an argumentative point but only the Torah and Gospel are mentioned in regard to Jewish and Christian theology in this video. It may do many a service to replace Torah with Tanakh. The Tanakh including the scriptures given to Moses and the scriptures written by the Prophets. We don't want to leave out the Judeo-Christian prophets 😞 or else the majority of Jews today would have reason to argue the notion that only the books of Moses and the Gospels were exclusively inspired by YHWH stated above.

amy smith, I don’t get why someone who studies the scripture would ever deny the reliability and acceptance of the Holy bible. If so, why would someone refer to other books for fundamental truth. Even Quran is pointing everything back to Torah and the Gospel. If you make a wrong choice, it’s you that’s responsible not anyone who tries to help make a better understanding. Remember, we’re dealing with eternity and God’s measures not on what a person might think from a mortal stand point like in Islam you would get 7 virgins if you work towards heaven. Don’t be deceived!

Jesus says that He existed before Abraham was even born, and that He had glory with the Father, God Almighty, before the world existed! And that He is to be honored in the same way the Father is to be! And he called God Father, but apparently Muslims say Allah is a Father to no one,and has no Son, despite Jesus calling Himself THE Son of God (not one of many sons of God). He said, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I am the resurrection and the life. I am the Good Shepherd. I am the First and the Last, the Living. These are all things only God can say. This is why we believe these words of the same Book: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was WITH God, and the Word WAS God" (emphasis mine) The Word can be "with" the God, the Father, and be Himself "God," precisely because He is, before all ages, 'begotten' metaphorically, ontologically, eternally, from the Father: making Him God, not a creature: "I came forth from the Father and am come into the world ... Behold, NOW THOU SPEAKEST PLAINLY, AND SPEAKEST NO SIMILITUDE!" (emphasis mine) This has precedent in the Old Testament: "I [God's eternal Wisdom] came forth from the mouth of the Most High." (i.e. the Word from the Most High, as even the Qur'an says about Jesus, although it didn't understand WHY He had been called this, as you see). "we muslims cannot accept that the creator of the heavens and the earth has begotten a son" I'm proposing a common sense rationale here. Read carefully: If you start with the Qur'an, a document 600 years after Jesus Christ walked the earth, and it says 'not the son of God,' then OF COURSE you will not accept what the Bible says. But isn't it more logical to check first whether the Bible, which God revealed first, EVEN ALLOWS for you to CONCIEVE of being a Muslim (which it does not?). Please give this some thought my brother. In addition, When Christians say the Word or Son of God was 'begotten' it should be noted that we don't think He had sex and then became pregnant with Jesus-nothing could be FARTHER from the truth. It is a metaphor meaning: of the same nature as God, therefore, He is like a Father, to a Son. In reality this relationship is where WE get fatherhood and sonship from, not the other way around. And its an eternal one, not something which 'happened' (there was never God without Father, Son, Holy Ghost). Imagine a flame: imagine the light as being the 'son' 'produced' from the fire. In reality, there is nevr fire without light, definitionally. Just as there was never God without His eternal Word or 'Son.' (Word and SOn both being metaphors for how the only thing you COULD be in eternity, before creation, is God, and so even His Word was God, and His Spirit). Muhammad PROVES TO YOU that he fundamentally misunderstood the Trinity, in the Qur'an itself. For it says: "How can Allah have a son, if he has no consort [wife]?" This proves he didn't even understand why we call Jesus the 'Son' of God. Can we really deny this fact? Anyway, God bless :]

Well I expected this talk to be a teaching about Bible only but only show how to defeat Muslims and criticising Quran. Maybe you should should invite once again your preacher, Joseph Estes aka Yusuf Estes and ask him why you as a great Christians scholar then believe in Allah rather than believe Jesus as savior.

Quran is full with verses where Allah is not just saying but commanding and inviting people that he is the only one who is our lord and only worthy of worship alone and we need to worship him, no where in Bible where Jesus says by him self (not said by John Paul Mark Mathew or Luke) that he is your Lord god and worship him.
