Ian has filmed, directed, produced and wrote for many Kpop artists over the years. The storyline for him and CL is that they were in a relationship and as we saw in CL’s MV things seemed pretty good, but there are problems. The problems were so instrumental in Ian’s Beautiful mv he shot himself physically and metaphorically which is why he lost the eye. This is why at the end of 5 star CL is seen alone and separated by a clear wall from Ian. She can no longer reach him. In this mv we get a deeper picture of Ian’s perspective. The blueberries are the little problems in the relationship that he tried to brush off/flick off, but the issues he had were much bigger as seen in the blueberry monster. He tries to self medicate, tries to run away/talk with Live who was going through his own relationship issues as seen by the hints of Jasmine and the space man (a note to Live’s album)... but in the end Ian couldn’t escape the problems even in his death.

The astronaut was a reference and throwback to the videos from the DPR Live 'Is Anybody Out There?' project (Legacy, Kiss Me etc). The other members of DPR were also in the diner.

I hope the DPR and CL collabs never end. Quality content.

DPR not only makes good ass music but those Visuals too like damn
