Downtown Tijuana Mexico Tour
This is a tour of downtown Tijuana Mexico on a Sunday afternoon in August. We start out on Avenida Revolucion and walk towards the US border. We check out several markets and other side streets around downtown Tijuana. There is another area called Zona Rio which we did not actually show in this tour. We mostly highlighted central Tijuana.

IT SURPRISED ME TO SEE STREET REVOLUTION CLEANER THAN HOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD.

I’ve been to Hollywood Blvd. plenty times with friends or family and I’ve never seen it dirty since the city keeps it clean and their street sweepers weekly… maybe you’re on a different part of Hollywood Blvd.. 🤷🏻♀️

Just went with my gf the other day. Heard a lot of bad things and to not visit but honestly there wasn’t any moment I was nervous or skeptical. The downtown spot is cleaner than a lot of US cities and it was a fun experience overall

I used to go there with a friend when I was studying in San Diego 1982. Im a Saudi Thanks for remaining me
Growing up in Los Angeles, I love coming to Tijuana every chance I get. Once upon a time I used to come here twice a year. I even come to church every time I visit Tijuana.
From Scotland here , really enjoying your touring around all the places that you've been too. Keep em comin :)
Was in school for the Navy in San Diego back in the summer of '92. Me and my buddies would go down to TJ almost every weekend. We had a favorite club that we went to called Tequila Sunrise. Partied pretty much until the early morning, usually catching the first trolly back to San Diego. Getting into TJ was a breeze back then, just walked across. Coming back was pretty easy as well just had to stand in line and then show my military ID and got waved right in.

@@justme87999 yes. That’s the point. Have you seen the “tourist streets” of LA? They look like shit. You see homeless people and garbage everywhere and the homeless take dumps in the street. Tijuana may not have the nicest streets surrounding the tourist areas. But you will NOT see human beings going to the bathroom in public.
Thank you for showing Tijuana. My husband and I are planning to go one weekend but my friend told me it was scary so I feel hesitant until I saw your video, surprisingly it looks better than LA.

I was there, two years ago. Great town, friendly people. I recognized the first zebra/donkey dude. At least on the weekdays it doesn't really get all that crazy there at night. It's not like Vegas where everything busts loose at like 11pm. Honestly all those markets you see are closed up by 8pm. It was nice to see it again, Revolucion is so much fun to explore.
The Cesar hotel is where the Cesar Salad was invented ... and it's the best you have ever had. We would bring our tour buses up to revaluation Blvd.
I grew up in so. Cal and have been going to TJ since 1984… haven’t been in about 20 years now though.. definitely looks different, much cleaner. I need to head back down. 👍
Living in LA as a kid my dad took us to tj to get our teeth worked on, so we were used to crossing the boarder later on we would go to the night dog races and it was fun and cheap. Hughsongs? Cantina in Ensenada was a good gringo hang out also. When friends or relatives would come out west they wanted to go to tj. Thanks for the video! Arkansas.
Stumbled upon your Channel and really enjoyed this video. Very informative and interesting. I learned a lot about Tijuana. Much more developed than I’ve been led to believe. Looking forward to watching more of your content. Keep up the great work!

At 2:46, just after Hotel Caesar, is the most incredible little store, called Emporium. Local arts and crafts, stunning paintings, pottery and jewelry at a fraction of the price you pay in the US. I go to a dentist in Tijuana, and make a point of going into that store every visit, before heading back to Chicago.
I've been to Tijuana at least seven times. Great place. My favorite is CeSar hotel and restaurant. Great food at the Caesar's restaurant.

I currently live in Chula Vista and am looking to move to TJ out of financial necessity. Thank you for the tour. I hope a year hasn't changed downtown TJ much. It looks amazing. So many of my friends and coworkers are concerned for me to move there. I feel I have no choice if I want to live in a civilized fashion as I'm currently living out of my van and have been for almost a year. I'm going there today to look at an apartment. I hope things work out for me. P.S. I've visited Los Algodones, MX, from the Yuma, AZ, and California areas and absolutely loved it. I'm hoping I get the same vibe walking around downtown TJ. I've also been to Malacca, Malaysia, and Singapore. Do you notice a theme here? LOL

Muito lindo Quero conhecer
Actually the streets look very clean!! I was in Mexico like 100 yrs ago-LOL- back then the pesos were around 250-275 to $1 US!!
If Mexico had the vision (they certainly have the money, especially if you count the cartels who low-key pull most of the economic and political strings these days), it could turn Tijuana into a MAJOR world-class gambling/entertainment center at least on par with Las Vegas up in Nevada or even Macau over in China if planned out right. And if it finally starts developing nearby Ensenada's port to 21st-century standards, Tijuana won't even have to rely primarily on San Diego and Los Angeles right across the border for most of their tourism revenue anymore. Oh, the possibilities...
I would never do it so interesting to see what is like!
I just got back from walking allover that whole area you looking at on the video for exercise, its now 9:26 pm
Cool video 👍
