DOWNTOWN CHICAGO SKATEPARK: 3-acres of fun in the middle of the city
Made the trek to downtown Chicago for an 8am solo session before work. This place is awesome and definitely worth a trip. Here’s what I was able to get before having to head back to work.
Also included some more info on the Sways and did my best to answer the questions you guys left in the comments. Be sure to leave any other question you have in the comments and I’ll answer them in the next video.
Thanks for the support!

Nice video. For the record. Clean or it doesn't count. lol And step ups never count.
very cool i live 40 min north of here and need to plan a skate trip
Rolling fakie looking over my left shoulder makes me feel like I’ve turned myself inside out lol
Park looks ill! Great session and style!
Awesome video. And I was really happy to see the follow-up on the previous Sways review. Looking forward to your thoughts on the Fluid Vs, when you get around to skating them.
Great content man! I just stumbled upon your videos and I have been loving them. Very well done, good insight and information, and your skating is very solid/enjoyable to watch. Keep it up man, subbed👍🏻

My neck of the woods!
I live 20 minutes from the park on the train.. but for some reason I’ve only been there once (it was super crowded the day I went)
Another great video, Corey. Love your style, by the way :D If you are ever coming to Cincinnati definitely check out the Florence park or the Columbus, IN park or the Kettering Skate Plaza (if they aren't too far). Thanks for the vid!

Nathan Chase thanks, I come through Cincinnati at least once a year. I’ve skated that park a couple times. Tried to go about a month ago, but it mobbed so i ducked over to Warsaw.

@@coreyenglish8706 Oh awesome, glad to hear. Warsaw is the closest park to me 😁 Surprisingly entertaining for so few features.
would u mind doing a symetric review? got creates now and wondering if its worth double to get the symetrics
Amazing as usually, i have a maybe stupid Q. Why am i having that much respect to hit a descending ledge/rail when i really know how to hit them Flat? I mean, why?

I’m sure I understand the question, but I also struggle with trying tricks on descending ledges/rails. I only go for tricks I feel confident and safe with. I’m trying to build confidence to try other tricks, but the thought of falling backwards down something is a hard one to get past. Wish I knew a trick for getting past the fear.

@@coreyenglish8706 well , honestly spoken, reading this answer from a guy who got way more skills than I do, is support enough. I mean in the end, once you land a trick, the scary part is done. Thank you very much!
YOOOOOO when were you here??? This is one of my locals

It was like 8am on Aug 31st.
If you care about style then don’t do mizous, kindgrinds or sweatstances. Apart from the ridiculous sounding names, they make you look goofy as hell with your legs stretched out. Not a good look for anyone. 👎

There are few grinds in rollerblading that don’t have silly names. I personally think sweaty can look good. A few people make KG look good (CJ Wellsmore).

Erik Bailey made the sweat stance look amazing bro. And a lot of skaters make mizou and kind grinds look good. Style is subjective but you can tell when someone laces a trick with confidence.
