Loved the movie. It was like seeing old friends again.

I've watched the entire series several times on TV During these difficult times immersing myself in the show is calming. The sets and the clothes are beautiful and of course the lifestyle of the aristocrats is enviable. Have seen both movies very enjoyable the cast of the entire franchise is perfect..hope there will be more to come. Can't get enough.

Best of the franchise. I’m a big Downton fan & have loved the entire series but this movie I could watch over & over again.

Went & saw the new movie almost the first day it was released. All l can say is that it was fabulous enjoyed it even more than the previous film. After the pandemic & the miserable two years we’ve all gone through it was wonderful to see something which just put a smile on all our faces. The glamorous costumes picking up the threads of the Crawley family & the trials & contributions money wise that Downton Abbey has to cope with. But enjoying with them that beautiful chateaux in France Also always Learn so much of Britain’s social History. Downton always covers so much. I always think that younger fans whether they realise it or not learn so much about Britain’s past. From the sinking of the Titanic &the First World War to lives in service. Think of the parlour maid Gwen who desperately wanted to become a shorthand typist & with Lady Sibyls help realised her dream & how that changed her life. I loved loved the new movie

Impressed they can act with all of the “distractions”

The movie was fabulous. A great escape movie. Not going to say anymore because I don't want to spoil the surprise.

It was fun to see how it looks being filmed in real life.

Hi, my name is Dolly Cashaw. I am a Black American who Absolutely loves Downtown Abbey. Even the name of the Series. My favorite character is Lady Edith. I also like Hugh Bonneville. I also Absolutely love the British accent. I think Downtown Abbey should continue. But this time with more Black or Malato characters. I practically love everything about the show. When I went to the movie theater to see Downtown Abbey the New Era, I was the only Black person there, but I didn't care. I was happy. One day in the near Future I Hope & Pray to visit London England & hope to get a tour that includes seeing the Abbey. I'm 65 years old , so I've got to get the money together for the flight & plane fare& etc. This is one of my Greatest Dreams of a lifetime. I've just been soo fascinated with Downtown Abbey since the 1st time I viewed it, following the story lines & etc.

One of the best films I've ever seen in my life

I’m not going to a theater to listen to this movie (having low vision, an employee allows me to use an assistive listening device, which describes the action in the headset they lend me), but I’m grateful to know the “spoiler” that the Dowager Countess is called Home. 87 year old Maggie Smith, with her 70 year career, is allowed to “retire,” well deserved.

Downton Abbey is the best series I have watched I have seen them all many times. I'm 85 and was a Dress machinist all my working life I was always interested in the 20s era fashion such sleek and stylish I was privileged to been able to make some lovely dresses in my time x

I’m glad to see Maggie smiling. She sounded like she didn’t enjoy the experience on Graham Norton and it broke my heart that she didn’t enjoy being involved in with that show.

It seems so strange, when I watch the acting it is me using my eyes to see every emotion, action and reaction.. But to think it is actually a camera..not my eyes...to think there are crowds of people out of sight when it seems to be a one on one relationship..myself and the actor. I can barely wrap my head around it...Especially with the fantastic acting in Downton Abbey...I truly believe I am an family observer... not part of a camera crew.

Slow down, Simon Curtis ! Long shot, 2 seconds on one face, 1 second on another face, 6 words of dialogue, new scene. I was terribly frustrated throughout the film except for Robert and Cora in the garden and Maggie Smith' s scenes at the end. Excepting, of course, every moment featuring the exquisite Nathalie Baye.

La serie continúa? Qué bueno, pero por favor que TV española los compre. Recién pusieron la serie desde el primer episodio hasta donde celebran el año nuevo 1925,y que Ana ,la señora Bates, da a luz a su niño. Luego al día siguiente pusieron la película de que los Reyes visitan Downtown,estuvo bien entretenida,me encantó, aquí ya estaban en 1927. ¡¡¡¡Por favor TV española, compren los nuevos episodiooooooss !!!!!!!!

Her name is Lucy smith, she is the illegitimate daughter of robert crawleys cousin Maud Bagshaw in the first downton abbey movie.

What’s next. Growth of children! Who inherits what.

I love Downton Abbey. I won't miss this last part, that's why I don't like to watch the filming because for me it loses all its magic.

It will be interesting years from now how they write in Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lilbit! Cousin Liz is already boarding her studs there?

These background shots show how ridiculous and hypocritical this wearing of masks was. It had no positive influence on the transmission of infection, otherwise the actors would all have been miserable or dead!!!!

the masks are simply horrific!

This movie was such a disappointment. Awful.
