A rare look at one of the hidden gem of Downieville. This is a long look at Lavezzola Creek Trail from my Aug 2023 trip.
Riding my Norco Range VLT, I did some back country E-sploring. This ride started at Packer Saddle, with an out and back to the Sierra Buttes lookout, before traversing across Gold Valley Rim, down Baby Heads to Pauley Creek. From Pauley I went north up to Spencer Creek, a Double Black trail which terminates on Lavezzola Jeep track and on down Lavezzola Creek Trail and back to town. There are so many great rides besides the Classic DH runs.
