Down Syndrome: How to communicate about your child's condition
Children with Down Syndrome look different and may speak later or slower than other children. As a result of this, people sometimes ask parents various questions about the child. Such questions may come from family, friends, neighbours, or even complete strangers. The questions may be asked out of curiosity, or out of a desire to help. Some may ask delicately, while others may ask an awkward question or offer unsolicited advice. This video shows how some parents of children with Down Syndrome deal with such questions and situations.

Hi! This video is exceedingly powerful! I have a younger sister who’s a Down’s syndrome child. She’ll be turning 16 this July, but is still unable to speak. We had made several attempts in order to get her the best medical help, even tried to enrol her in a school that was catering for special children, but everything went in vain. I was looking for videos of Down’s syndrome children to make my lil one see, in hopes of her learning something out of it and came across this beautiful video. For me, it’s absolutely astonishing to see these kids performing daily activities like any normal child. Which is why I’m keen to know if there is anything I could do for my sister to help her speak that would further aid her in becoming self reliant. HOPE YOU SEE THIS COMMENT GOD BLESS🙏🏻❤️

Sahi khaa mera bete ko bhi down syndrom. Hai. Bt hi is best child in the word. Mere bete se mujhe koi aise feeling nahi ati kyun k mera sb karta hai. Bus thoada lait hai wo. Bt bus thoada

@@roshani6004 mere puchne ka matlab ye tha mera beta bhi bahut late h to kya use bhi down syndrome h.??? Ya yuhi late h....dekhne se to normal bachho jaisa hi lagta h
