As a UK citizen I actually think the UK made the right call and I will tell you why. Don't get me wrong I definitely don't support hamas and am under no illusion about who they are but I definitely don't support Netanyahu either. He has to be one of the most foolish pm Israel has ever had, he tried to overturn the independence of the juidicary this year because apparently the justices were the enemies of the state. He has failed time and time again to show support for Ukraine and instead tried to make friends with putin. Well now he has seen exactly how much that relationship with Russia is worth. Trudeau is a 🤡. They actually voted "Yes" to an earlier informal resolution (with Australia and New Zealand) which did indeed mentioned the removal of Hamas and the release of the Israeli hostages. Funny that later for the (nonbinding) UN resolution (with no mention of Hamas and the hostages), this weak-assed TRIO still voted "Yes".
