I certainly remember. A crew lost the ship on the island next to the island I grew up on, here in Western Norway, after Greenpeace sabotaged it and sunk it. Not just the owner of the whaling boat, but the whole crew lost their job and their whole family their only income. The whole campaign was a shame, both because Americans had been the reason for the extreme hunt of whales, in order to get whale oil, the best and cleanest burning oil of all to put in lamps before kerosene. Here in Norway and some of the Western Isles, along with Japan, we did hunt and still hunt whale, but we do it for food and with strict quotas and with species that are not endangered or even close to. While in USA people enjoyed keeping whales in small fresh water tanks, torturing them while pretending to be good friends to the whales that have to humiliate themselves in order for every herring being given, getting so frustrated that they drown dozens of the people that look at themselves as "whale friends", while riding on the back of them and abusing them for public entertainment in Sea World places. Funny thing is that the whale Keiko, from "Free Willy" came to Norway to be safe, and got friends here that made him happy, but he should've just been shot, because he had no pack to hunt in and had no knowledge of how to be a free whale anymore. After shooting him, it would be meat for millions of meatballs, that could've been sent to Africa, to starving people.

I haven’t seen a UN resolution for the 11 Christians murdered every day by Muslims in Nigeria. Happening currently.
