Why are they not condemning Hamas for carrying out that attack and for putting the people of Gaza in danger by siting their weapons in schools and hospitals? Why aren't they calling for the release of nearly 300 Israeli hostages including babies and children? They aren't are they? These marches are anti-Israeli, despite the fact that the Israelis are the true victims and the dead of Gaza are dead because of the actions of Hamas. Douglas knows exactly what he is talking about. Piers, unfortunately, does not.

Murray has rock solid, consistent reasoning and the ability to raise perfect examples every time. He is a master of rhetoric and thank god he's on the right side of history.

Palestinians haven't voted since 2008, and then only 50% of people voted for Hamas. If 50% of the country are children, who have never voted, and the of the remaining 50% only half voted for Hamas in 2008, the majority of the country didn't vote for Hamas. Many people feel concerned for the innocent people on both sides caught up in the conflict but those people would be more sensible than to attend rallies which can be expected to turn violent (judging from recent protests).

@@rainingstorm4526I didn’t hear Douglas say anything that couldn’t be backed up by independent bodies, that said I do agree that the peaceful pro Palestine demonstration must be allowed to go ahead but the rule of law also needs to be enforced fully and fairly. Only today I watched several clips on KZread that showed pro Palestinian protesters stating that hamas hadn’t killed children during the terror attack, that in my humble opinion is showing them for the ignorant, stupid and dangerous individuals they really are. Just to be crystal clear here I will fully admit that in my view Israel isn’t innocent in this situation and has made some terrible decisions under unbelievably difficult circumstances. Absolutely nobody comes out of this looking innocent but I’ll ask two questions I’ve asked previously, 1: If hamas laid down it’s arms tomorrow what would happen? 2: If Israel laid down its arms tomorrow what would happen? If you answer those questions honestly then you must see the problem here!

Well said Douglas. Top bloke standing against some of the most vile people on earth.

I’ve read all of Douglas’ books and watched hundreds of hours of him talking on a wide array of subjects, he is the absolute pinnacle of British intelligence and character, I saw him at the culmination of the ARC conference last week at the O2, and I really wish he would start some sort of political movement in the UK. Something where all those of us who agree with him are combined into a unified voting block several million strong, and he proposes policy changes, and can swiftly acquire several million votes in support to pressure the government into action. It could be called the Coalition of Rational Brits. The reason I suggest this rather than him entering politics directly is because I know he doesn’t want to do that, and the minutiae and bureaucracy of government would hinder his efforts.

Oh for heaven's sake, Piers; quit being foolish, listen to what Douglas has said.

Mr. Murray, you a true patriot and a noble human being. I am in owe by you.

It's a shame to be an idiot who doesn't have any moral clarity and can't understand what he's talking. It's twice as bad if you also happen to have a grandfather who was the extreme opposite of a village simpleton. Smart people are so rare, like gems. I'm pretty sure Winston Churchill would be very proud about Douglas Murray. Just as much as he would be ashamed of his idiot grandson.

Organised protests happening on remembrance day is highly disagreeable, however I can see that upholding individuals freedom of expression and the right to protest is of prime importance.

I came with my two children for shelter from Israel to stay in my country of birth. Before the day of our flight, my daughter asked for her dad to exchange her ice hockey backpack with that of another backpack without the Israeli logo on it. Her ice hockey team is part Arab part Jewish girls. She feared she would be a target by anyone hating Israel.

Since the terror acts of Oct 7th, my opinion of Piers has gone down tremendously. He seems very ambivalent to the horrible treatment of Jews and his core of ethics are off base at best. I like what I heard from Douglas Murray and feel reassured in the goodness of mankind by his values.
