The music in Doug was legendary, you didn’t really notice as a kid because you were just vibing with Doug, but the music was really unique, fun and well done, plus, a ton of ukulele!!! Pork chop was always playing uke!

It's funny how my quickly my brain went from "huh, that's a little weird seeing a couple of old voice actor dudes gearing up for a concert," but as soon as I heard the beatboxing and those first four notes on the guitar, I'm a nostalgic puddle of happy tears. It has to be similar to watching Jim Henson turn a puppet into Kermit.

I've been watching "Doug" on Hulu lately, and it's just as good as I remember it to be.

2:02-3:50 I was in tears reliving the old Nick toon days and the nostalgia. I’ve every single Doug episode ever made and loved the show and still do! 🤓🤓🤓

Oh, man ... this is soooo nostalgic. Thank you, Fred Newman and Dan Sawyer, for being part of my adolescence and for seeing music in a simple and magical way!!!

This brought me back to my childhood watching Doug. I had the biggest smile on my face. Good times! 👍🏽👏🏽

My favorite cartoon score ever! When it comes to the 90's, I will never take off my rose tinted glasses. Best decade to be a kid hands down. I'm so thankful i got a taste of when life was still sweet, sigh* sadly life has soured over these past 20 Years

Oh boy, this is my childhood in a freaking video! Didn’t know how much Doug background music I would recognize lol. And when that guitar first comes in at 2:13 on the theme, I got chills!

If only these guys knew the impact they would have. I still catch my self scatting like this guy from time to time.

Literally would pay to see them sing killer tofu and the theme song alone. Like a whole 90’s nostalgia themed concert! It would be lovely ❤️

It’s shame they never released an official soundtrack score to Doug, I would buy it in a heartbeat

Honestly, the best riff in Doug was the love theme (the one they play first). It feels really timeless. It's a shame they couldn't really pull the Beets stuff together.

Also I worked at a music store for years during high school and college and am only just now realizing that THAT'S how you play a nose flute

It's incredible how deep within the recesses of my memory this lied for the last 30 years.

The love of this music is exactly why I do my 90's recaps. So much fun to re experience these amazing shows again. to put it all back together so no one forgets. (0's cartoons have some crazy underrated music, look at "Hey Arnold" lol.

Who says being weird doesn't pay. It pays ridiculously in the 90's.😊😂❤

I seem to remember it when Doug was at the nurse's office, trying to make up an illness, and the nurse sent his ass right back to class. 😂

I love how they tried to fake us out by starting with the whack ass Disney version before doing the real version that we all wanna hear

You can just tell they put so much heart & effort into this series. I miss my childhood. Things seemed to matter to people more back then. At least we still have this. Doug was one of the best cartoons of our generation.
