Doug Stanhope is in many people's opinion, and according to my own opinion rightly so, a very interesting person. He was here performing his trade of standup comedy, in the societal context anno 2013 - content-wise partly political - still entirely relevant, moreover FUNNY, ten years on.
It has been viewable for some time already on this service, but only in a theoretical sense. Due to the abysmal quality of the alternative upload of this special, with crackling audio, I personally consider this video as uploaded by me to be the first and only watchable version.

Wow. I saw Doug back in 2009. His comedy is unlike any other comedian I've seen. Always new, on the ball, his descriptive power puts him up there with Hemingway in my book. Long live Doug Stanhope.
