Remember when country was country. When everything did not need a beat. When lyrics came from the soul. Way down deep. When a life of sorrow and happiness made a song. Not a life of a "thug" pot and drugs. Remember when talent made a good life for someone. When a simple guitar tune and a voice of gold made a man happy and out of the cold. Now I see homeless men with more talent then the ones standing on the stage. Isn't this a sad world, when talent is hiding in the shade.

Thank you Jill & Magnus for giving Doug a break of his life! Talented musicians helping fellow talented musicians ... kudos to all of you guys!

I really can't get enough of this song and Doug Seeger's singing. I just love it. By the way this is a first time for me hearing Jill Johnson who is also fantastic. Oh please somebody help this man produce an album. I want to listen to this music and more of it.

What a deep song with a touch of country, blues... It certainly touched my soul! It was recorded at the famous Cash Cabin Studio and all the musicians did a great job! I wish Doug Seegers all the best!

My god! This is pure from the heart and soul song.., from a guy who lived it. I would put songs like this up against that tinsel phoney crap music they churn out today by far too many who's worse day was discovery of a pimple, wardrobe malfunction or someone yelled at em for littering.
