A double height lobby is known as a space where the ceiling is roughly twice as high as the ceilings in the other room.
Having a double height lobby in your home can give it a welcoming, spacious and attractive look. Compared to a simple lobby this can add a dramatic ambience by adding long chandeliers and ceiling lights etc. So If you like spacious homes then you definitely need to have this in your home.

We can save our space while having double hight lobby by adding mazaline
I have decided for a DHL as my living room, my question is how and where to place the fans. I don't like the hanging fans with long pipes. Let me know if there is a better solution. Thanks

The option is no fans. In any case you will have to cool it with the air cons. in summers

Actually it is equal. On the other hand, you tend to put more windows in double height lobby

How about building a basement and giving a stairs to the basement from DHL. So that iy can get a cooling effect from air

Well too some extent that might work but not to a great deal. On the other hand, having a DHL and then stairs from there is always a very good option

PLEASE REPLY! I have a question, why do we keep open space of like 3' or 4' (gali) in front of a house?? I really want to use that space, because in 5 marla house, I can't have a full fledge lawn so there is no enough practical utilization if that space left in front of the house... Pls guide me about it, does it cause any problem if we don't leave this space? Front elevation achi design ho jae gi??

Ji your requirements are utmost important normally. Normally that space is given so that you don't directly enter into the room and doors are provided there. You can have option of using that space but then design it prudently

U can have privacy even if u want to draw the curtains away for light n ventilation...other wise the window opens directly into the street

No it will look narrow, a double height lobby need latest 17×20 square feet area if you able to provide then 👌

local Constructer always against DHL، tried n asked our ٹھیکیدار (Constructer) for it while making drawing، he was totally agaisnt n not willing to construct۔۔۔ lack of good Constructer in reasonable budget is hard to find

I want to keep it casual and natural . This is how i speak in normal day to day life. I will try to keep it in hindi though if given a choice but some words of english are used so frequently in our daily life that we all use it
