Great job in explaining this. I am in the middle of doing a double exposure with photoshop and didnt know what to do. Your video really helps. Thanks.
Hey Merry Christmas Nathaniel. So looking forward to what you have up your sleeve for the next tutorial. cheers jamie
Thanks Nate for a great tutorial on this cool artistic effect. Liked, Subscribed and rung that bell. Great work!
Hey Nate Happy New Year to you and your family. Thank you for your work and best of luck in 2020!
N , doing a job with this technique right now. thanks, ill try and render it like the master you are. You make everything look easy. cheers
Another trick I like to add as the top layer is, Gradient Map set to Noise (5%) or so and use the randomizer. You also have to separate the white and charcoal taps in the Layer properties. (Alt -click) and drag each half to the opposite side)
This is some great information. I'm new to photoshop and this is just so fast. Gotta keep replaying to keep up.
Thank you so much, I am going to do this for one of my graphic design class projects. Also thank you for writing up recording notes! I started a file for them :) Regards

Waooo. Easy to understand, you are a great teacher!
Hello Nathaniel, I really enjoyed this fantastic tut - as I enjoy all of your videos. You really can teach very well, I can follow along very well and easily with your explanations, for me both photoshop and illustrator. You are doing a great job, absolutely terrific, first class! Btw - I´ve been reading your blog entries....retreat? Please don´t, you are one of these special people (I really read your blog) who are able to make the world a little bit better. Hope to see more from you soon. Keep it up Nathan, chin up, chest out and keep smiling. Greetings and best wishes from Germany
I can't believe you do this for free
Man I was up last night until something like 2 AM just watching your past tutorials and I gotta say - I genuinely think you're the best out there. Yeah other youtubers have good tutorials, but you? You're in a completely different category Nathaniel! You're fast but concise and I think your tutorials are not always suited for beginners (because they're so fast, so it's almost like you expect us to know a lot of things to follow your tempo - which is good!) and I love your personality and remarks, you're totally the kind of guy I could share a good laugh with. Pleeeeaaaaase continue doing these tuts. I have to admit I don't know why you're teaching us all this epic stuff for free (because you could definitely sell these videos), but I am hugely thankful for it. I have a small child and probably couldn't afford it if you were selling tutorials (but think about it for the future, I want you to be rich, happy and teaching us for years to come :D ). THANK YOU!

Hey, Nathaniel missing your tutorials, have you been busy with jobs.? I have improved in all areas because of you and your tutorials can't thank you enough, I'm very grateful Cheers jamie
How did you decide to convert to B&W with a Channel Mixer adjustment layer for one image, and B&W adjustment with the other? Was there something about the images that indicated one choice vs the other?
@tutvid
4 жыл бұрын
No reason in particular. Making a black & white is like choosing pickle from a barrel, sometimes you scope one out before hand, other times you just jump in and grab one.
Nice, thanks 😘
Edit I got the new layer to work and everything, but there's only one problem, see the feathering didn't do anything to my image, I even checked by turning on and off the layer, but it still didn't look like there was any change in the image.
how did you find the first protraite photo?
That’s great
You are awesome ... Thank you ;)

Hi, Can you make this type of challenging effect? I think this can be your best ever after effects tutorial if you could make this tricky Apple ad effect. @
where can i find background images for a project?
Sir Could it be possible to Answer my simple Question ? today i was draw a shape from rounded rectangle tool and make it round by putting some value for all edges and create a duplicate copy from the same shape layer and try to scale down proportionally using Ctrl+shit cmd . But its not look like what i accepted means its proportional from vertical edges but horizontally it didn't ... So i did it manually scale to make it proportional from all direction .. So could you give some tips to fix in this matter .. Any suggestion
Nice work

Dude why u stop posting Ur videos helped me so much I want more
I tried this tutorial but when it came to feathering the edges there was a warning saying no pixels are more than 50% selected. The selection edge will not be visible and I don't know how to fix it. 7:32 edit: I got the feathering to work, but the new layer didn't come. I don't know how to fix that.
No more new Videos? Your content is for sure missed by a lot of people. Thx for all the videos you have uploaded. Hope to see a new clip from you. Regards David
