Thank you, MR Blackley this was a great interview. With the Growing threat of China in the Pacific Placing Military personnel or Civilians under contract on these WW2 bases to make the runways landable and any harbor semi-usable would be a worthy effort. all of these Islands should be used in the future for Navy Marine and Coast Guard exercises any repairs and upgrades could be made during these training exercises. Americans fought to capture these Islands we should be defending these strings of pearls.
Mr. Blackley is a very impressive speaker.
I love discussions like this IRT tactically applied history into current geopolitical variables. Yesterdays enemies are not always todays friends or tomorrows allies. There are no absolutes in this world or the next.
