Same here. On the other hand, before they gave this cartoon a chance and treat it as its own standalone universe, them fans bashed the cartoon. Glad to know that people came to accept the cartoon. It’s unfortunate that Double Dragon never got resolved. The brothers never reunited with their father and mother once and for all.

Impressive ep. Sad about Vortex being homeless and losing his parents, but still, very actioney ep. And he's full of Determination.

Jimmy and Billy Lee are dragon masters now..

My brother and I would crack up at this show, even though we did like it. Cartoons back in the 80's and 90's had some really good messages and such, today not so much.

When Tradewest took over Double Dragon from Acclaim, they changed the oiriginal concepts from which the game used to be like. I'm guessing to make it more kid friendly, me being a Double Dragon originally didn't like it. But it grew on me, & it did teach great moral values.I would try to wake up wee early hours Sunday mornings just to watch it. I love the theme "By The Power Of The Dragon!!"

Yeah. What a total drag. If it does miraculously come on DVD I'm getting it before it vanishes the verry next day from walmart forever like everything else of good videos they sell. I had enough trouble tracking down Captain Planet as is and Final Fantasy Advent Children, not like they are rare or anything except for rare good shows. :D

*Sickle:* "I'm still here, Lizard breath!" To think he insulted Double Dragons here, and then in 1997, went on to be Wrath-Amon; A Serpentine sorcerer.

I love 90's anime better then 90's american cartoons. Even though some of the american 80's and 90's cartoons are good. But needs work though. The movements are bad.

Interesting hearing Dinobot, Cheetor, and Rattrap talking from these guys mouths. Forgot they had the same voice actors. Thanks for uploading.

Vortex has the same style in addition to spinning as Billy and Jimmy Lee. He isn't but he could be the third guy in the Double Dragon Games The Dragons took him in he's like their Third Brother.

It's to my memory that Jimmy was voiced by Scott McNiel, who I also remember as the voices of Protoman from the American Megaman cartoon, Blanka from the American Street Fighter cartoon, Raptor from the American Dark Stalkers cartoon, and as Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing. That guy is everywhere. And Billy was voiced by Michael Donovan, who I remember as Guile from the American Street Fighter cartoon.

Alot of animated series were done by a group of actors in Vancouver. Mainly because no union/guild.

@MDthornton83 And he also voiced both Rattrap and Dinobot in Beast Wars and Piccolo in Dragonball Z [Ocean Dub version] (Scott McNeil).

Believe or not, you may find them on Amazon now. I don't know if you ever heard of the cartoon Mighty Orbots, but it was a rare 1980s cartoon, similar to Voltron. I found the whole series on DVD, & you may find the animated Double Dragon series there.

alwsys wonder how Vortex took the Lee's modified Kung fu/Karate system and changed it to Capoeira...

So first they have Billy Lee being a lame clone of Kenshiro, and now we have a kid that's a self taught genius, basically a lamer version of Juuza. Stop ripping off Fist of the North Star 90's cartoon, you're not good at it.
