I'm 100 percent with you. I even noted in my review it got old after a while.

Uncle Matin is the Mike Haggar of the group, while Marian uses speed and gunpower. No way you can punch "Gunslinger Girl" in the gut and not get payback from her weapons.

Marian finally got tired of being slapped around grabbed and kidnapped so she came strapped with a pistol and a Bazooka daring dudes to try putting yo hands on me now 😅😅😅😅

River City Girls 2 version of her did this better imo, she is jacked asf in that game and definitely more intimidating

@@codysvlogdays yo I just checked out the preview you are absolutely right and I'm saddened that they made her so insignificant compared to what she was in River City girls 2 when I get the extra funds I'm going to cop that game and play it just because of this version of Marian it even had the double dragon theme song and everything

2:38, 5:09, 18:47, 18:57, 23:39 & 23:55 the gunshots sound satisfying

Double Dragon part 6! Marian got more lives than a Cat...

Amazing! This looks more fun than SoR4. I like the replay value making arcade a survival mode at the same time… Plus rewarding the player for strategy. The risk reward elements are refreshing and what the genre needs. Finally, I love how the game is a perfect balance of simple and complex I want to play it now.

More fun than streets of rage 4? I don't know about that bro. I will give this game a chance, but from what I have seen so far I do not think this game will be serious competition for best beat em up this generation.

SOR 4 is fun but not that fun feels slow for me and that mainly because they removed running.

@@juliox9 They should have kept the running from 3. They do have fighters from 3 and Cherry can run as well. The new survival modes are cool as well.

that's a bad name if you know what mate means in the other way😅 however the first Double Dragon on the first screen where the automobile appeared, there is a sign called Matin. Guess they had to show their love for blending the lore into the game even if it's outsourced

Gotta be honest wish they'd use a similar Marian like the one in river city ramson girls 2 with like an mma fighting style her gunplay looks slow.

Where you skipping through the cutscenes at the beginning?

@@midnighttrain522 It's a bit on the slower side. Instead of being a fast paced game it's more slow and methodical. Like if you pay attention to the amount of damage I take you can see it doesn't take long to die. In fact, it's possible to die in a second due to a few things hitting at once. But, I also appreciate it's trying to do something different.

Man, how far has the Double Dragon franchise fallen. I'm reluctantly going to buy this because it is Double Dragon, and I hope I'm wrong about it being lame. All it needed was the SoR4 treatment and wallah...the King of the beat'em ups would've returned. After Shredder's Revenge and SoR4, the bar has been raised, and this doesn't appear to cut it.

Dude same here. I will give it a chance, but they are not trying to compete with these horrible character models. Bro there are games that are not as good as turtle or sor4 that smoke this game imo. I would play mayhem brawler, raging justice, river city girls 2 or final vendetta over this any day. This game does not seem to come close to trying to compete.

I play Neon and thought it was a good if not flawed game. I do not think this game will be as good as Neon to be honest.
