Double decker bus Restoration Rusty Abandoned model
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Too rusty? Yes, this double decker bus was so rusty that I had to use tin patches. The drive mechanism was also repaired and everything works. The bus is like new! This restoration is one of the best on channel Restore Machines! Watch by yourself :)

As someone who has collected old antique items all my life (I’m 33 now), I take so much pride in giving them new life and will continue to cherish these items until I pass away. Then hopefully someone else will love them the way I did and pass them down and so on. ❤️ Thank you for giving an old rusty piece of metal- a new chance at life. I’m glad people still care about old toys like I do 🥰

@William Johnson well, honestly, that is how I got into fixing clocks. Pictures after taking away every single piece. Indeed, after some time, you develop a natural intuition around how things go back, but before that, just taking apart and putting back works with photos. Restoring damaged parts is a totally different topic though.

Absolutelly brilliant. At the beginning I thought the bus was too far gone with all the holes. But you really rescued it. I loved all the little details, the key and the fact, that it runs at the end. Well done.
The intro alone got an 'Awww' from me. I love what you do, these are so heartening.

I just love the abrasive blasting. It's amazing how some rusty crap just comes back to life in that moment.

Comparing to another units that had a chance to be restored, the initial condition of this double decker is almost perfect.)))
This is really my hobby to buy any toy bus or car which is broken & give it a new life. I enjoy doing such work. I actually wanted this large scale London double decker vintage bus model so that I could work on it & make the interior also look real. But in India we don't get such beautiful bus model. Hats off the person who did such a great job & restored the rusted bus & gave it a new life.

The best 13 mins of my day. Thank u.
The tow truck towing the bus. Loved it 🤗
It's amazing how a heavy coat of rust makes an object look unsalvageable. But when the rust is removed, the object looks repairable. And your methods certainly are very effective. Most impressive.
You should consider powder coating instead of spray painting for a more durable gloss finish. Good job by the way.

Yeah, well he just started using an air brush and sand blaster which is a big step up. Besides power coating is messy and involved the process requires careful filtration as the fine power can be harmful if inhaled plus the high temp curing.
I, for one, am impressed with the final transformation. Kudos.
