Agreed! I am a white American boy,Soukous/Rumba Congolaise changed my life,30 years ago! This is a great guitarist. Double Double is a classic. My favorite is by Zaiko Langa Langa,”Femme me Pleur Pas” It makes me smile and weep at the same time.

Not so fast buddy. I think he s Haitian coz I came across a Haitian song he played. OMG this guy is amazing on the guitar. When I grow up I want to play like him. When you say you’re a guitar player, you should be able to play anything guitar. But still my brothers in Africa America Haiti are the guitar kings.

I think it's likely he has probably read up on the history, and the Sierra Leonian guitar influences and the Ibo Nigerian roots of Doublé Doublé. He definitely respects it. No disrespect to your comment by the way. You're right he plays unbelievablely.

Iam a zambian in early 50s but this song refreshes my memory of when i was 20

So awesome ! I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Zaire and was surrounded by Soukous music. Arguably the best music ever !! Don, this is so good !!
