I came back to dota after basically not following it at all past 2 years, only watched this trailer and knew about muerta. I expected to come and having to learn like 4 new heroes but nah, all the same.

If there's one thing I dislike about DOTA2 is how slow Valve is with hero releases compared to other Mobas. They've been doing like 1 or 2 hero releases for years, feels like it's not enough.

Ult looks like a tombstone that enemy hero is forced to hit, if they destroy it they are stuck for certain amount of time. Also some kind of stealing of dmg or attributes if they are killed during the stuck time. Pretty cool

John De Lancie is the perfect voice for this, wow this looks awesome!

I would be really excited to see a more psychological side to some dota 2 heroes. Really make people think before taking a fight or jumping in, I'd liken it to pre rework techies where you never knew if at any point you'd be sent back to respawn maybe something like phantom lancer but instead of being focused on damage he's focused on distracting a luring with his illusions

Circus clown hero... Might be intelligence and skill of binding or manipulate enemies

​@@Mryourpornbruh, before dota 2 became a thing icefrog worked with riot to make league of legends that's why the map is similar and have some heroes be similar too, but they're vastly different in terms of heroes and items. You cant even compare them, latest league champions are far better designed than dota 2 heroes in terms of abilities

ooohhh i hope its ultimate is this hammer game and it lasts for until a hero attacks it and gets trapped like what happened to axe, i'd have so much fun just randomly placing it on highground steps

I'd have to guess that the ult is a trap-esque skill that puts a hero inside and damage them by a % of trapped hero's max HP per second and this heals the Ringmaster based on that %. If the construct is attacked by the trapped hero's allies, it'll dump out the current one and catches the next one. Every time an enemy hero is switched, the trap becomes untargetable for 0.8 seconds. Once the trap duration ends or destroyed it'll dump out the hero and applies a fear effect for 2 seconds. Hits to destroy 4/6/9 Agh upgrade: Ringmaster can now prematurely end the duration of the construct and the trapped hero can now be controlled by the Ringmaster. This only last for a short duration, and the fear effect will be applied to the mind controlled hero after the duration ends or the Ringmaster dies.

back then on dota 1 (wc3) when dota-allstars forum was still around, I once submitted a concept hero with ultimate spell similar to what you described: Marionette Control, a 3-second channeling spell to control enemy hero.

Here is a bunch of new abilites for a hero and old ones work slightly different. Take it. How often this happens in League and without announce of it as rework?
