JUST .. JUST..JUST IMAGINE PLAYING DOTA WHILE LISTENING TO THIS HOLY FUCK

Hello everyone. The new music pack just came out today in the game and store. I put a lot into this score, and it's a cool mix of Orchestral music, beats, electronic, and some real unique vocals with all kinds of effects on them. A big thank you to Valve Software and the amazing group of people over there, the Dota 2 community and the many Dota 2 fans of my music which are the coolest fans in the world. The new score is called Elemental Fury. Enjoy and please spread the word!

It just depends on Valve. Last year they had so may tournaments, and things were real busy.

Way better than that awful deadmou5 shit, this actually has a serious battle vibe to it unlike shitty generic house music.

+Jhonqd Hello, Those vocals are in the music, "But" they are only in those two music pieces, and that's it. No where else, only for the menu and select character screen. The other 30 to 40 minutes of music has "only music," like the actual game play music. A lot of people actually like and requested some small vocals to be in my next one.

+Daniel Sadowski One question tho' : When there's vocals like "dota2", "hero select", "reborn" etc. heard in the sample clip... are those in the final complete version as well or are they left out?

Thanks for asking! Those vocals are in the music. But they are only in those two music pieces, and that's it. The other 30 to 40 minutes of music has only music, like the actual game play music.

I love it! the only change i would make is remove the vocals, especially in the hero select because the announcer will tell you to choose your hero at the same time as the music

This music is outstanding, the vocals bugs me to no end tho. Really good on everything else.

When I listened to the preview I was reluctant to like it as heroes within is just too amazing. Then I was like, wait a minute this shit sounds awesome and the style actually reminds me of heroes within. Looked at the producer and I see your name on both!!!

Jason, thanks. Yes this is darker and more "Tron" like I guess you could say. It has a darker, more moody sound, more ambient and mysterious. Heroes Within was more mystical, adventurous I guess you could say. But yes, I am the same composer on both. I find that when playing the packs, I would set the music to 100 percent and the sound effects and all other voices to like 30 percent. That is a good balance in my opinion.

This is really good! Although not quite on par with Heroes Within imo, still very good. Would probably just shuffle this and Heroes Within. Have to say though, the vocals in the first and last tracks kinda spoil what would otherwise be very thematic songs.

idk whats wrong with valve they haven't added a single new music pack in months...

For me, Heroes Within is by far the best music pack. Good job on that. Not quite sure I like this one, though. Not my style. Either way, good job on your work. The beginning of this song sounds a bit like the Gladiator OST(if I recall correctly), don't you think?

I never heard Gladiator, ha ha.. Its all good man, that's why we have a variety of music packs. Heroes Within is lighter, and more emotional and mystical, but Elemental Fury is more darker, edgy, moody, ambient and has a slight electronic sound mixed in with the orchestra. So they are completely different. I am thinking of possibly doing a "Heroes Within 2" music pack sequel, that would be like Heroes Within except better, more emotional more powerful and fresh.

thanks! elemental fury is a little more edgy then the last pack. I loved working on both and I feel they each bring something new and fresh to the Dota 2 universe.
