Thats me right there. I have memories with this song back home when I was around 13 as well but I've been in Britain for years now and I just got out of a 3 year relationship so this song just randomly popped in my head and it just hits different now.

Listen. This is Dot's real first breakthrough track after being signed. Mentioning our collapsing world was never going to go well for him. Much respect for attempting to bring the truth right from the very start bro

Listen to the lyrics, this song is pure truth!
great tune, RIP Robert Miles.
Genuinely one of the most meaningful, well produced and written songs I have ever heard to this day.
The way this hits now is mad 🤲🏿🙏🏿

Been listening to Dot for a long time now, still love his music!
'We're programmed to obey, programmed to listen..' The message in this song is so deep + this is officially my song of the summer. Amazing
Underrated
First heard this at a Chase & Status gig in Sheffield about 10 years ago, stuck with me ever since
Children... an immortal song that will NEVER die. Thank you Robert Miles.
This song has been massively underrated since it came out...💯 (And that Robert Miles sample is everything)

Still here in 2024! 1997 child and this was an absolute banger! Wow the goose bumps rights now
Being honest, I found this some from Zerkaa during his GTA RP, driving his R8
Dot rotten is such an under appreciate artist. Such a talented person not only can he make all sorts of tracks his lyrics are deep af. This song has so much truth in it and makes it so it reaches the masses and gets radio time but then can switch it back up and smash out a pure grime banger. Much respect 🔥👊
The craziest thing about this song is, this was 10 years ago now. But these lyrics hit so differently today. So much has happened and we're living in so much uncertainty. Everything seemed so much better at the time. It's almost like this track was for the future.
The lyrics are so powerful. Much respect to Dot.

I heard this song in someone's car 5 years ago and was searching for it for the past like 2 years and finally found it and I'm so happy.
Best grime artist to hit he mainstream imo
P Money's diss brought me back to this
Dot Rotten spoke the truth in 2012 and no one realised
People watching and listening to this in the middle of the p v dot beef, this should show you the gatekeepers kept dot out of the spotlight fr , he is truly one of the best in the scene and has been for a minute. This is the only time that blew big and he got shut down quick after it.

452 People are part of the system.
I think its hilarious how many people just dont take note of these lyrics, and ask questions like "why do more people listen to Gangnam Style than this", the answer is in the damn lyrics. If you opened your eyes to the corrupt world we live in then you'd understand.

I've Been Following Dot for a long time and hes one of the best rappers in the UK, His New Minfection EP Mixtape he cleaverly pars just about every top UK rapper on the scene, His versistillity as an MC/Producer is unmatched and he goes in on everytrack, why I love his music so much, as he says in this track, you might see him "acting road" and from R.I.P Young Dot to the present the guy is a fucking legend. UK ALL FUCKING DAY, Love!

Elites seething when he dropped this
A song where you can understand the artist and the meaningful message that never gets old. Before our time and always in our present. 5+ years this song never gets old and I feel the message even stronger as I age.
