Good old days 🥺

I can’t believe I’m already 20. This song triggers a flood of emotions felt when I was 12. Emotions I forgot even existed. Life was easier back then. Right now, I feel lost and out of place. Terrified. Regretful. Anxious. But at least for the 4 minutes when this song is playing, I get transported to a different place. One where everything in life is still fresh and new, where I still believe in myself and the possibility of dreams. Where I look upon my approaching teenage years with excitement and expectancy. So for these brief 4 minutes, I’ll just listen and close my eyes. I’ll take a break from my reality.
