When I was younger any time I ate a cookie or brownie that I had made or my connects made and I would get so baked, however now i suffer chronic pain from a neck injury that wasn't treated for 5 years and developed many problems and surgeries in my cspine. I'm a mmj patient, and when I get any edibles or beverages from any mmj dispensary I feel nothing and I'll eat up to 300 mg at once. It had been years since I had edibles too. I think it's a liver deal, but I am going to try some of your recipes and tweak the ratio so I'll get the equivalent of hopefully 600 to 800 mg per serving to see if I've just got a ridiculous tolerance or if I really can no longer enjoy edibles. It takes maybe half a gram of 16 to 21%thc/.04 to .07%CBD flower and I use a cbd and lidocaine infused roll on topical and straight cbd salve and I go from an 8 to a 5 on the pain scale. Yet when I lay down my pain stays at a 10 all night and I no longer get quality sleep. So it's trial and error time to get me to sleep and back to being able to live a gainful life. Thank you for the awesome videos!

Great channel, try to leave a comment per video because the algo needs to give you some loving. Talking about the other stuff in your weed besides the THC? Go for the most visible example that can show up when cooking: chlorophyll. The fun green stuff that can turn your cannabutter or oil green :) I live in a town with a maple syrup festival you think I would know more about what's inside plants! lol

Thanks I've been using distillate for my homemade stuff 60percent dark chocolate but I put the distillate in real salted butter first ...makes the blend easier....would love to see more vids on distillate use.. flower is too expensive for us FL card holders

In Fl at least once a week I can find flower on sale locally at $15/3.5 grams (~20% THC). As I type you can buy 80% distillate on sale $27.50/1gram. That's 3.4¢/gram THC for distillate. The same flower mentioned will @60% infusion yield (considered low) cost you 3.3¢/gram THC. If you can get an 80% yield (good but not great) the flower will cost you 1.6¢/gram THC. Not considered in the calculations is the left over flower (after infusion) can still be put to use even though some folks toss it out. Also Florida does not limit the purchase of flower like they do edibles, vapes etc.

That is so funny!! My first time making edibles I used way too much and I got stuck in a loop of trying to sit down and then getting too high and standing back up lol. It was a long night! I imagine your cake was just made with some strong ass weed! 1g doesn’t seem like a lot for one person but it can have up to 300mgs of THC if it’s really strong!

Unfortunately I do not have experience with making my own hash! I can’t think of any reason you’d need to dry it first, but I would definitely google it!!

Heat sources concentrates like rosin... Ur lucky get 1.3 per 7g. Weed..which I assume is wax...however the quality and matirity of the plant material is the notable variable that makes it differ..gee is best but consistent is better mith MCT or organic coconut oil ..

When you say grams of weed. Does that mean the butter or the amount of flower we use to make the butter?

Hi! Yes! But kief can sometimes be a higher potency per gram I think, so I would google %THC of your kief to be sure!

14 g weed + coconut or MCT oil = 2800 mg /0.9 ( max infusion or absorbsion rate ) if herb is meh add 2g to take past 20% . Devide amount items ....Ur welcome.

Hello, so I am a little slow. First thanks for the great content. So according to the flower chart calculator I have 34g of flower (34,000 mg) at 20% unlabeled flower (guess). I have in the 34,000g 6,800 mg of THC. Okay so far? Now, I want to make 40 little chocolate edibles with a THC content of 10mg per dose (mild and easy) So I take 40 edibles * 10mg per = 400mg THC Now, I take: 400 / .2 (20% THC) / 1000 = 2 grams of flower. Since I started with 34 grams of flower, and I need 2 grams per 40 edibles I have enough to do it 17 times (2*17) give or take loss etc. Is that right? The next questions: 1) How much coconut oil should I use for 34 of decarboxylated flower to create canna oil? 2) What is the chocolate (cacao) to canna oil ratio for a good chocolate drop say? Using my 40 edibles as an example. Let's say that each chocolate drop is 5 grams. So I will need 40 * 5 or 200g total. Again, thank you and I will continue to scour your content. If you have links to any answers that would be much appreciated.

Hi! I loved this! Your math is all correct! To answer your questions: I would do 1 g per tbsp of oil, so 34 tbsp (about 2 1/4 c). Make sure you stir it a lot while it’s infusing! And it’s super convenient that you need 2 g per batch because that would be 2 tbsp each time! ****But make sure you measure the oil at the end of infusing! You may have lost some oil in the infusing process (could be stuck to the weed you strain out, etc) so make sure you know how much you have at the end! We know we need 17 servings based on how much weed we’re infusing so divide the final measurement of oil by 17 to see what each dose should be. (It could be less than 2 tbsp, and if you use the full 2 every time you will not get as many batches out of it and you’ll have a higher dose than you wanted! I’ve only made chocolates a few times, but when I do I put like 1-2 tbsp per cup of chocolate, and if you end up using more chocolate than oil that’s even better! I googled it and 1c chocolate is 170grams, so if you did 2 tbsp oil I would do at least 225g chocolate. (That would be 1.5 tbsp per cup which should harden) If you are willing to, I would do 340g chocolate for a preferable consistency and taste! (1 tbsp/cup) That would be 8.5 g per chocolate if you did 40. I am struggling to visualize a gram of chocolate so I can’t tell if that’s huge? But based on the math that’s what I’d do! Let us know how it goes if you try it!

Hi! Cannabis oil can be used for a lot of things - candies, marshmallows, pasta, etc. I have videos on all of those on my channel if you want to try any of them! You can also just use it in general cooking if you’re into that! Drizzle a bit of oil on your pasta after it’s finished, use it in a salad dressing, etc. the only thing you don’t want to do is heat it up too much - typically anywhere under 240F is ok. Basically, if it bubbles, it’s too hot! So I recommend adding it to dishes towards the end rather than using it through the hottest parts of the cooking process!

She had me until Google the strain...then got me back with her explanation of guestimates 15 -20... Add 2g yer always over 20 .

Hi i made a infused MCT oil with ten pucks from pressing flower the THC in the flower was 24% i used 250mls or MCT oil.And today i made gummies with a cup of infused oil i made 26 gummies how do i work this one out .could help me work this out please

Hi each puck was 3.5 grams of weed .chips or pucks is what u get after you have pressed the flower for rosin i used one 500ml of MCT oil to make the infused oil ,but when i made the gummies i only used one cup of oil

@@aussieauto7314 I imagine that pressing it for rosin takes out a large bit of the THC! I don’t know that this video would apply because you would need to know what amount of THC is left in the weed after it was pressed. I tried looking it up but I’m not able to find much on how much THC is left after being pressed! I’m sorry! This is probably a good case for an at-home testing kit! Lol

I would not use the micro wave . Infusion should be slow and low temp .
