I am looking to start mermaiding when i discovered this once surfing the internet and am looking to get my first tail and i recently moved to a house with a pool. i have been looking at tails and how expensive they are. i am sketching a tail i am looking to make i believe it is much cheaper and really ill just have to purchase fabric and a monofin. you have been my inspiration. thank you

I'm 166-167cm tall and I want a tail from fin fun. What size is best and should I size up or down? And does foot size matter??? Thx for the help😊🙏🏻oh and I'm 13.

When buying my first fin fun tail I made a mistake with the sizing and, well... it will probably fit me for another 20 years 😂 when I bought my second fin fun tail, I made sure I got a smaller size and it's only a little bit too big.

Kawaii Bunny13 i got mine for 160... my finfun...

I love to make tails, you can add to them or change them in the future if your not pleased. Also, you don't have to be good at sewing to make one, as long as you can sew a straight line or keep the edge of the fabric line up on the 5/8, 1/2, or 3/4 line depending on your size. If your making a DIY tail, that looks professional or like fin fun tails, then go to Joannes fabric store. $12.99 to $16.99 a yard(go on a day were fabric sells for less or bring lots of coupons).

How do you put your tail on the wall?? Can you make video of that?

Thanks for the video and tips on buying a tail :) I been having an hard time picking what tail to get for quality and long lasting or what's best for a first tail. And trust me it's no joke saying it's hard finding your first mermaid tail

I'm getting a finfun mermaid tail from the official website that comes with the monofin pro and protect kit and the reason I got the monofin pro is because I have swam in my home made monofins before in my 3 foot deep pool that are an out the size of the monofin kids size and I got it in assie green adult medium and I know the dolfin kick I've been swimming the dolfin kick since I started swimming so I'd say I'm pretty good at it it's supposed to come in a few days I'm so excited.

I found a tail website called mermaid cosplay but I really can't tell if they are a scam or not. Help plz?

A REALLY BIG don't for me is: Don't just try to copy Ariel or Aquamarine. They are two of the biggest or popular mermaids ever. Everyone is trying to look like them, get the same tail as them, tops ect. Just don't do it. It kinda makes you look unoriginal

I went to that website you mentioned but the closest merfolk to me is an 8 hour drive from here so I'm feeling alittle isolated. there arnt any swim groups or meetups in my area of anykind for mermaiding. do you have any suggestions for me? also id like to have someone to help me out because I'm new to this whole thing. thanks for the info its been a great help.

+Christyne Long The mernetwork has tons of Pods around the world as well as a member map too! I mean it depends where you live but I know there are likely mers in any state or province. Also make friends via instagram! You never know who will turn up close to you; I discovered a girl who lived in my city who I had never known of before! Meetups don't have to be official either, it can be just a friend or two!

IzzyBob Bizzy if you live in the uk i'd suggest planet mermaid, they're very good quality and not the most expensive, for a tail and monofin mine came around to £60
